We were delighted to welcome Phillip Heyman, Principal Viola with Welsh National Opera, to entertain our residents at Beaconsfield Heights 🎶

Phillip’s performance was truly outstanding, featuring a wonderful selection of music ranging from beloved operas to famous film theme tunes — all of which our residents thoroughly enjoyed.

It’s always lovely to welcome new performers who bring fresh experiences and joy to our community. We’re already looking forward to your return performance in June!

We’d also like to recognise Catalina as Employee of the Month for her incredible hard work and dedication. Her ongoing support for both residents and the team makes a meaningful difference every day. 💙

Yesterday we were delighted to host the Macmillan Cancer Support Buckinghamshire South Fundraising Team as they gathered to celebrate 32 years of fundraising.
Following lunch they kindly gave a talk for our residents giving an insight to the work that is done by the charity and how they raise funds.
We look forward to hosting a Macmillan Coffee morning again later in the year in support of this valuable cause.

What a wonderful afternoon we had yesterday celebrating St George’s Day with the incredible Helmsmen! 🇬🇧✨

This was their visit performance at Beaconsfield Height, and they certainly did not disappoint!! The residents absolutely loved the energy they brought, singing a fantastic selection of songs we could all enjoy together. 🎶

Spring is in full swing at Beaconsfield Heights 🌸🐑

We were delighted to welcome Lily the lamb from Performing Pets, who stole everyone’s hearts with her pretty face and those stunning eyelashes! She was the perfect visitor, bringing smiles and joy to all our residents.

It was fascinating to learn about Lily and the care she needs, and even more special to hear residents sharing their own memories of life on farms. Moments like these truly spark connection and nostalgia.

A big thank you to Performing Pets for another magical visit — we’re already looking forward to seeing you again next month! 💛

We had our lovely weekly visit from Partou Nursery 💛

Our residents’ faces light up the moment the children arrive, and the excitement is just as strong from the little ones who can’t wait to get the toys out and share the fun. Seeing the children and residents engaging together is truly magical ✨

We’re already looking forward to seeing you all again next week for more fun and games!

What a wonderful afternoon we had at Beaconsfield Heights with a fantastic performance from Peter Edge, our talented baritone singer. 🎶

Peter filled the home with his beautiful voice, performing a selection of songs that the residents truly loved — many even sang along! It was so special to see everyone enjoying the music together.

He also took the time to meet with residents, sharing stories over a lovely cup of tea and some delicious lemon drizzle cake, chatting about his career and their treasured musical memories.

Thank you so much, Peter, for such a memorable afternoon — we’re already looking forward to seeing you again soon! 💛

What a wonderful outing we had to The Living Rainforest in Newbury! 🌿✨ It was an amazing experience seeing so many different species of plants and trees—some over 30 years old.

The residents were fascinated by the monkeys, crocodile, sloth, iguana, frogs, and so much more 🐒🐊🦥🦎🐸

The staff were incredibly friendly and informative, and everyone really enjoyed listening and learning throughout the visit. A truly memorable day for all! 💚

What a wonderful afternoon we had visiting Amersham Memorial Gardens 🌷☀️ The residents absolutely loved seeing the spectacular display of tulips — it truly felt like being in Amsterdam! Such a peaceful, reflective place to visit, and we were lucky the sun shone for us 💛
