We know spring is on the way when we get a visit from Performing Pets and their 9 beautiful chicks 🌼🐥

Our residents absolutely loved spending time with them and couldn’t stop talking about how sweet they all were. These visits mean so much — they bring back wonderful memories of collecting fresh eggs and caring for their own chickens years ago.

We were delighted to welcome the talented and beautiful Nazan Fikret from Songhaven to perform for our residents ✨

Nazan, a silver-toned soprano who has appeared in a number of musicals, filled the home with her amazing voice. Our residents were truly captivated and thought she was absolutely stunning.

At the end of the performance, Nazan kindly took the time to meet everyone, chatting about their favourite songs and even singing along with residents—creating some very special moments 💛

Thank you, Nazan, for a truly magical afternoon. We’re already looking forward to Peter Edge’s show on the 16th April at 2:30pm! 🎶

What fun we had at Beaconsfield Heights celebrating St Patrick’s Day! 🇮🇪

We kicked things off with an Irish-themed quiz, followed by an amazing visit from the Turf Tappers, who got everyone into the Irish spirit with classic songs and wonderful resident participation 🎶💚

To round off the afternoon, we enjoyed coffee accompanied by some delicious homemade Guinness cake — which went down a treat! ☕🍰

We were delighted to welcome the children from Partou Nursery to celebrate World Book Day with our residents 📚✨

After the children made a lovely cup of tea for everyone, we all sat down to enjoy the story of The Ugly Duckling. Claire began the tale dressed as the duck 🦆, and then each resident took a turn reading a page to the children.

It was truly heartwarming to see both generations so engaged and enjoying the story together. Moments like these are incredibly special for our residents and the children alike ❤️

Kim was selected for consistently going the extra mile and demonstrating outstanding dedication in her role. Well done also to our runners-up, Shree and Maria from Housekeeping, who were both recognised for their excellent work and commitment.

We celebrated a very special Leaping Year birthday as Peter enjoyed his 24½ birthday surrounded by family who made him feel extra special — especially as his “real” birthday only comes around once every four years!!!
