Our memory care residents had a fantastic time on their River Time boat trip! 🚤💙

On August 12th, they enjoyed a peaceful cruise, taking in the beautiful views and sharing lots of laughs along the way.

There were plenty of tasty treats too – with tea, coffee, and delicious cakes enjoyed by all! 🍰☕️🫖

Our residents had a fantastic day out at the Charlton Open Air Museum.

🌳 They enjoyed exploring the immersive exhibits that bring history to life in a unique outdoor setting. From watching live performances to discovering fascinating historical artifacts, everyone was engaged and inspired throughout the visit. 🌸

The beautiful grounds offered plenty of space to relax and take in the fresh air, making it a perfect mix of education and enjoyment. It was a memorable experience filled with laughter, learning, and great company. ✨

A heart-warming outing for everyone. 🏡✨

Our residents had a wonderful day exploring Bekonscot Model Village - the world’s oldest original model village! They loved wandering through the charming miniature scenes filled with tiny houses, bustling villages, and vintage trains 🚂

The beautifully crafted landscapes and intricate details sparked smiles and brought back nostalgic memories for many. With plenty of photo opportunities 📸 and peaceful gardens to enjoy 🌸🌳

It was a truly magical and heart-warming outing for everyone 💙

🎶🌊 All Aboard the Yellow Submarine! 🌊🎶

What a wonderful way to spend the day — celebrating the Beatles and their iconic Yellow Submarine! 💛🎉

Residents and staff had a fantastic time posing for photos with our very own Yellow Submarine, lovingly crafted by Clare from Activities and Kayley, our CLM. There were smiles, laughter, and lots of joyful moments shared by everyone. 💫Yellow Submarine was released by The Beatles in 1966 and sung by Ringo Starr! The song inspired a full-length animated film in 1968, featuring the Fab Four on a magical, musical journey. Its colourful, quirky style and message of peace and love made it a 60s classic that’s still loved today.

Thank you to everyone who helped. It was a wonderful way to lift spirits and celebrate music, creativity! 🎶💛

Care Home Open Week Highlights 🌟

What an incredible week we've had here at Beaconsfield Heights! 🏡💛

🛍️ Monday – We kicked things off by delivering our Avery goodie bags to local GP surgeries: Doctor Now, Simpson Surgery, and Milburn Surgery. Everyone was so grateful – thank you for the warm welcome! 🙌

💅 Tuesday – Pamper Day! One of our lovely Dementia Café guests and her carer joined us for nail painting, private dining with Claire, and a stroll through our blooming garden 🌸 A beautiful, relaxing day!

🌿 Wednesday – Our local school came to help get the garden summer-ready! 🌞 Together with our residents, they planted pots and made stunning hanging baskets. They're now joining us every Wednesday! 🌻

👒 Thursday – It was Ladies' Day for Royal Ascot! Residents, guests, and staff dressed up and enjoyed fresh Pimm’s in the sun 🍹👗 A day of glam, sunshine, and smiles! ☀️

🧠 Friday – We finished with a fun and very competitive quiz afternoon!

🎉 Huge congrats to our winners, The Freddys! 🏆 It was also the perfect way to welcome our newest permanent resident 💛

Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this week so special. Community, connection, and care – that’s what it’s all about 💕
