First aid at work courses (FAW) )
In October 2010 the Resuscitation council changed the Protocols for CPR as lots of First Aiders were not doing effective CPR thus we pride ourselves that we fully instruct our pupils and believe that through our guidance First Aiders will be supervised and build confidence with one to one tuition and therefore go foreword as effective in their skills. as opposed to doing the course just to gain the certificate
These courses are spread over three days and are regulated by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
There is a practical assessment on day three of the course
 
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
Emergency First aid courses are run for one day only and cover the basic principles of Emergency First Aid in the workplace there is ongoing assessment via the instructor for this course
 
Child and Infant First Aid 2 Day course 
This course covers Childhood illness as well as injuries to children and infants and is offered to all who are interested in learning how to deal with both emergency and non emergency situations
the course is taught over two days and includes adult resuscitation also
 
Childrens Emergency First Aid Course 1 Day
A shortened course covering emergencies and first aid for children and infants
 
Outdoor First Aid and FAW
This course is designed for Ramblers, Kayakers, Mountaineers, etc and covers First Aid taking into account that the programmes are for those  that operate in both remote and urban environments
 
Health and Safety in the Workplace
This half day course covers the basic legal framework of health and safety with examples from current legislation such as The Management Regulations, risk assessment and a range of workplace issues relevant to the delegates. Infection Control
This course usually appeals to Care workers, Nursing homes, Restauranteurs and anyone who works in a health care setting 
it is a half day course
 
Herbal First Aid
This course is a 'bolt on'  and intended for those who have already done the FAW course and would like to add an extra day learning how to use herbs in emergency situations
 
Sports First Aid
 
Combat Survival Course
This course combines our EFAW course our Outdoor First Aid with survival techniques and Herbal Medicine it is a four day course . Bush Medicine 
This course is based on our less native herbal medicines and has an outdoor based theme 
 
Naturopathy

Learn about Diagnosis from the Iris. Iridology is used to find a patients inherent genetic pre disposition to disease or illness. Georgie Shellis Mh Ir EMT
Georgie is an ex ambulance medic and worked for the Nhs and in the private sector for many years. Georgie also has been a member of Search and Rescue and now teaches full-time on First Aid courses (FAW) (EFAW). Originally from a Herbalism and Iridology background Georgie also teaches on our Herbal First Aid and Outdoor First Aid courses

Cpl Jon Dean
Managing Director Co Trainer
Jon has a wealth of experience in the outdoors and has served in the RAF as a reservist and has recently been promoted to Corporal. Jon has been teaching fitness and is a Walking Expedition Leader, and has taught survival combat courses for the RAF and now co - teaches on our outdoor survival and combined Bush medicine courses. Christine Wright MSc, CMIOSH 
Trainer
Originally from a biochemistry research and lecturing background, Christine has worked for many years as the Assistant Safety Director at Imperial College London and is experienced in a wide range of workplace health and safety and first aid issues and developed an extensive health and safety training programme. She now teaches and examines on a range of first aid courses, manual handling and health and safety. She is the holder of a Distinguished Service Award from The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health for her work with its London Metropolitan Branch.
