🌱Traditional reflexology is most known as a treatment on the feet. However, reflexology can also be administered on the face, cranium and even ears, particularly to treat symptoms of stress and anxiety.

In this podcast, we share the mic with Lisa Wand, Seed’s reflexologist located in Bray, Berkshire

Here, Lisa shares her insights and experience of using reflexology in these less conventional ways, highlighting how these methods can support the body, regulate the nervous system and thus reduce stress.

Said Lisa, “I have personal insight into how high levels of stress and adrenal burnout affect health. Therefore, tackling it is important. And this is where these more alternative yet highly powerful reflexology methods can help.”

🎧You can listen to this episode on all the usual platforms and find out more about reflexology and Lisa on our website 😊

Your nervous system is the part of the body that is responsible for regulating your breathing, heart rate, blood pressure and digestion. Understanding how you can regulate and calm your nervous system allows you to manage stress, enhance your wellbeing and bring much needed balance to your body and mind.

When we are out of balance we generally don’t feel good, out of control and can be stressed and anxious. When you maintain balance you feel better equipped to cope with what life throws at you, you are calmer, happier and healthier.

We have many treatments and activities that focus on the nervous system:

🌱Reiki
Andrew Jackson
Debbie Lawrence
Chloe Bruce

* According to Dr. Will Cole, the nervous system heals in stillness, making slowing down the most productive action for health. The body cannot heal in survival mode; it requires a shift from chronic stress to a parasympathetic “rest-and-repair” state.

* Why cortisol constricts your vessels and how breathwork can help
* The connection between insulin resistance, blood sugar, and hypertension
* How inflammation damages the endothelium—and which foods protect it

🌱Sharing a snippet of this fantastic podcast talking all about raising and supporting neurodivergent children.

We know that raising and supporting neurodivergent children, whether that’s ADHD, autism, sensory differences, or other learning styles; can be both deeply rewarding and at times overwhelming for families.

There’s so much information out there, and parents are often left trying to piece together what might actually help their child thrive.
That’s why we wanted to bring together three different perspectives today.

Because supporting neurodiversity isn’t just about one thing — it’s about brain, body, environment, and nervous system.

In this episode we explore how nutrition, coaching strategies, and acupuncture/nervous system support can work together to support children and the whole family. With Tiff Kertesz - Traditional Chinese Acupuncture , Judith Katz – ADHD & Neurodivergence Coach and Sarah Morris – Registered Children and Family Nutritional Therapist

🌱In a world that moves fast and asks so much, your wellbeing can quietly slip to the bottom of the list.Today is a reminder that health isn’t just physical; it’s emotional, mental, hormonal and energetic.
Looking after your health and wellness is about the little things you can do every day

As today is World Health Day, here is your permission to …

✨ Slow downTo pause, to breathe, to soften the pressure you place on yourself.Your nervous system thrives when you move at a pace that honours your body.
✨ Say noTo create boundaries that protect your time, your energy, your peace.Saying no to one thing is often saying yes to yourself.
✨ Receive supportYou don’t have to carry everything alone.Holistic support, from massage and craniosacral therapy to hypnotherapy, nutrition, breathwork, and talking therapies can help regulate your system from the inside out.
✨ RestRest is not optional. It is a biological need, a healing tool, and one of the most powerful ways to reset your nervous system.

Today is a gentle invitation to choose yourself in quiet, consistent ways that allow you to feel grounded, nourished and well.

What will you be choosing? We’d love to know 😊

🌱Stress shows up in so many different ways; tight shoulders, disrupted sleep, a racing mind, low energy, irritability, gut issues, or simply feeling “not quite yourself.”Often, these subtle signs are the body’s way of asking for support.

During Stress Awareness Month, we’re shining a light on simple, effective ways to regulate the nervous system and bring you back into balance. The month is all about being about change.

✨ Breathe deeplySlow, intentional breathwork activates the parasympathetic nervous system - your body’s natural calm.

✨ Move gentlyYoga, Pilates, Qigong and mindful movement help release stored tension and bring stress hormones back down.

✨ Create pockets of restEven 5–10 minutes of stillness can reset your internal pace and shift you out of overwhelm.

✨ Connect with someoneTalking to a therapist or simply sharing how you feel can reduce emotional load and bring clarity.

✨ Support your body with holistic therapiesSeed Wellness offers a range of calming, therapeutic treatments that help soothe the mind, body and nervous system, including:• Massage & reflexology• Acupuncture• Breathwork & meditation• Cognitive hypnotherapy• Reiki & energy therapies• Yoga, Pilates & mindful movement sessions
• Qigong & EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)• Aromatherapy & relaxation treatments

Stress may be part of being human, but staying overwhelmed doesn’t have to be.
Your wellbeing is worth prioritising.
Save this as a reminder to check in with yourself today.
