🌱Change can be difficult. Whether it be positive or negative change, it can feel challenging and even overwhelming.

I this podcast we speak with Debbie (aka Debs) Minsky, a Transitional Coach where her work centres on supporting individuals through life’s transitional moments - including career changes, motherhood, parenthood, chronic health challenges, grief, trauma, and more.

Debbie’s mission is to help people feel truly seen, heard, and connected to their authentic selves. Through thoughtfully curated development plans tailored to each individual, she offers practical tools and embodied practices that extend far beyond the coaching space and into everyday life.

She is especially passionate about empowering mothers navigating the profound personal and professional shifts that accompany motherhood.
In recent years, Debbie has deepened her exploration of grief, trauma, and chronic health, insights that are further informed by her own ongoing cancer journey. This lived experience brings an added layer of compassion, depth, and understanding to her work.

🌱Exam preparation is often focused on revision and performance.
But how a student feels plays a significant role in how they show up.
Stress, anxiety and disrupted sleep can impact concentration, memory and confidence.
Techniques such as breathwork, visualisation and cognitive reframing help support the nervous system, allowing students to feel more calm, focused and in control.

Because a regulated mind creates the space for learning to happen.

Let us know if you use any of the techniques

🌱Yesterday, 4 of us from Seed ran an event at our local GP surgery in Beaconsfield for their social prescribing team and a cohort of patients living with pain. Celebrating their social prescribing awareness day. An approach that recognises the importance of emotional, physical and social wellbeing in supporting overall health.

Social prescribing is a non medical approach where healthcare professionals refer patients to community based activities and services to support their holistic health, wellbeing, and social needs from movement and therapy to community and connection.

Our event included breathwork with Caroline Boyle , QiGong & EFT with Jane Green and sound therapy with Andrew Jackson

The room was full to the brim mainly with patients seeking solutions alongside pharma to help them manage their pain & health issues more holistically.

We’re proud to be part of a growing conversation that supports individuals in a more integrated and meaningful way and have been supporting their monthly pain café for the last 6 months.

Have you heard of social prescribing before? And would you like to be given the option?

We’d love to know 😊

Drop us a DM if you need any more info 🌱

🌱In this episode of the Seed Wellness Podcast, Magalie Valadier is joined by Emily Guiver, Sam Lowi and Louise Slope to explore the deeper roots of perinatal anxiety.
Pregnancy and postpartum bring profound physiological change. Oestrogen can rise to 100 times normal levels during pregnancy, before dropping dramatically after birth; one of the most significant hormonal shifts in human life.
But anxiety is rarely explained by hormones alone.

Our nervous system is shaped by our childhood experiences, our own birth story and even inherited family history. These influences create what Magalie describes as a limbic imprint. A unique sensitivity to life’s stresses and transitions.
These patterns are not only mental, they can also live in the body.Tension in the diaphragm, holding in the pelvis, or rigidity in the fascia can reflect the nervous system’s response to past experiences.
Through a collaborative approach; working with the mind, biochemistry and physical body, healing can begin.
When we support the whole ecosystem of the parent, we are not only easing anxiety, we are changing the legacy for the next generation.

🌱Pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding are nutritionally demanding.
Your body prioritises your baby first, which means many women experience nutrient depletion without realising it.

If you’re feeling:• persistent fatigue• brain fog• sugar cravings• mood swings
it may not just be sleep deprivation.

Prioritising healthy fats, protein and complex carbohydrates can help stabilise blood sugar, support mental wellbeing and rebuild energy during postnatal recovery.
Small, consistent nutrition changes can make a powerful difference.
