🌱This episode of our podcast is not to be missed! We speak to Lorna Rhodes (mBANT, r CNHC), Seed’s specialist  Nutritional Therapist for cancer patients, on Getting To The Root Cause of A Cancer Diagnosis

According to current stats, around 1 in 2 people with be affected by cancer in their lifetimes.

Here, Lorna shares the process of getting to the root cause of a cancer diagnosis through DNA testing and other methods, and how this helps her support her patients through treatment and recovery.

After experiencing breast cancer herself, Lorna became deeply curious about how nutrition can support the body through treatment, recovery, and beyond. She retrained in oncology nutrition and now helps people prepare for treatment, manage side effects, and rebuild strength with personalised, evidence-based guidance.
Every client is treated as unique. Lorna combines tailored nutrition and lifestyle support with advanced testing where appropriate; such as gut health or DNA insights, to understand the whole picture and offer practical, empowering steps toward better wellbeing.

At the heart of her work is a simple belief: food is a powerful tool for supporting health and preventing illness.

As with all Seed campaigns, we share trusted insights from experts who not only support people living with cancer — but truly understand the journey themselves.

Last month, our amazing Breath Guide in Beaconsfield, Caroline Boyle, travelled to Northern Sweden to take part in the Wim Hof Winter Expedition.

Said Caroline, “Wim Hof teaches that through breath, cold exposure, and commitment, we can access strengths we often underestimate by meeting discomfort rather than resisting it.

“As a breath guide, I was drawn to exploring how breath can lead. In the cold, it became everything: slow, steady, grounding.

After chemo and surgery, I trusted my mental resilience completely, but felt a quiet hesitation about pushing my physical body after all it had endured.

This expedition answered that. The cold stripped life back to its essentials, no distractions, no shortcuts. Just breath, presence, and conscious choice.

The experience was extraordinary. Our bodies are extraordinary. I loved every moment!

WELL DONE CAROLINE – you are amazing and we, your Seed family, are beyond proud of your achievement.
