✨ A little milestone moment ✨

I can’t quite believe it, but this month marks one year in private practice 🎉
It’s been a year full of learning, growth, meaningful moments, and plenty of “I’m so glad I do this work” reflections along the way.

Over the past year, I’ve also qualified as an Advanced Specialist in Counselling children 🧠💛 Supporting children and young people is something I really care about, and it’s been such a meaningful part of this journey.

At the moment my books are full, which I’m incredibly grateful for, but please do feel free to get in touch if you’d like to connect, ask questions, or be added to a waiting list for the future.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, trusted me, and encouraged me over the past year — it truly means more than I can say!! ❤️🥰

Wow. What an incredible year it has been. Just over twelve months ago, Nurture was a tiny little business tucked away in my Mum’s beautiful back garden. Today, The Nurture Sanctuary has blossomed into a thriving, tranquil space that continues to grow beyond anything I could have imagined.

This past year, we’ve welcomed hundreds of wonderful clients—both familiar faces and brand-new ones—through our doors. I will never forget the look on everyone’s face the first time they step inside, or the heartfelt compliments we receive about our serene salon. Creating a space that feels like a true sanctuary makes us incredibly proud.

We’ve expanded our treatments and services over the last year and now offer a beautiful range of massages, beauty therapies, and counselling support. We placed 11th in the whole of the UK for "Best New Salon" and 18th in the UK for "Best Salon Decor" at the national UK Hair & Beauty Awards. Achieving this in our first year of business was (and still is) a very proud moment!

We have launched our very own natural & organic skincare line, made in Dorset and using the finest natural ingredients. This Christmas we have completely sold out of several of our products which is just amazing!

The Nurture Sanctuary continues to grow and flourish, with big, exciting plans for 2026. We have a new team member joining us in January and our expansion is well underway (more news on these to come!). We are so excited to share our plans with you very soon.

A very special thank you goes to Millie .page . This year would not have been the success it was without her passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to her work. You light up the salon Millie, never stop being you!

And finally, to each and every client who has chosen to visit us at The Nurture Sanctuary: thank you. You are the reason we get to do what we love. Your support allows us to provide the high-quality, nurturing experience we take such pride in.

🎄Merry Christmas From The Nurture Sanctuary 🎄

Wow wow wow! We have had an incredibly busy December, squeezing in as many extra appointments as we could. Thank you all for your support this year. We are now taking a VERY well earned, and well needed rest over Christmas. ❄️

Millie will be in the salon on the 30th and 31st December for limited appointments. We will resume normal opening times from the 2nd of January. ✨

I am switching off from all admin duties over the Christmas period. Emails, calls and messages will be responded to in January. You can still book and manage your appointments via our online booking system!

🎄Last Appointments Before Christmas 🎄

We have a very limited number of appointments left before Christmas. We have opened up some extra dates on Mondays between now and Christmas for anyone looking for a last minute appointment 💚

Thank you all for keeping us so busy!

We will be closed from the 25th December until the 2nd of January, but open for limited appointments on 31st December (New Years Eve!)

Normal hours resume from 2nd of January 💚

Cancellation Policy

We’ve alway had a very flexible cancellation policy, and it’s very rare that we’ve ever had to charge clients who couldn’t make their appointments.

Unfortunately, we now need to implement a stricter cancellation policy. Cancellations don’t always happen, but when several occur on the same day, it becomes unsustainable for us as a small business to absorb those losses.

It’s an incredibly challenging time to run a business in the current financial climate, especially for small independent businesses like ours. When appointments are cancelled on the same day, we simply don’t get paid. We’re humans with our own personal expenses as well as business overheads, and we cannot take the financial hit when appointments are missed.

Our updated cancellation policy is as follows:

• Appointments can be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance free of charge.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment, as well as no-shows, will be charged 100% of the appointment price.

We truly wish we could tell everyone not to worry if something comes up (as we have done until now) but this wouldn’t be fair to our therapists and is no longer viable for our business.

If you are cancelling an appointment in an emergency, please do let us know, and we will always do our best to help.
