This is an incredibly overdue post thanking everyone that helped to create The Nurture Sanctuary last November! (Wow I can't believe how quickly that has gone!) We completely transformed the space in such a short space of time into something so tranquil, classy, functional and unique💚

Firstly a huge thank you to my partner (and my rock!) Chris at for your creative mind, ability to overcome any problem and your absolutely exquisite workmanship. As always, you turn my dreams into reality. None of this would have been even slightly possible without you, in so many ways💚👷🏻‍♂️🛠️

Thanks to my amazing friend for all your work on the website, logo and designs! Amid juggling everything else you already do, thank you 💻🥰

Thanks to Dom at for all the help with the painting and decorating! (And for staying here all night long with Chris the night before we officially opened to get everything done 😬 ) 🖌️🎨

9 months on, we have several wonderful therapists, business is booming and plans for our expansion are coming together nicely. 😃💚

What is therapeutic massage?

Therapeutic massage is a type of massage therapy focused on achieving specific health benefits and promoting healing, rather than solely for relaxation. It uses various massage techniques to address physical conditions, manage pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being.

The summer solstice marks the peak of the sun’s power,
the longest day, when light reigns and shadows retreat.

It is a time to pause and honor the warmth that sustains life,

Excited to welcome Kayleigh to the team at Nurture! 💚

Kayleigh is a talented massage therapist, whose early training in the beauty industry first introduced her to massage therapy. Later on in life, Kayleigh has found a true passion in massage therapy and chose to further her training at The School of Bodywork in Exeter.

Kayleigh wholeheartedly believes that the power of touch has immensely positive effects on mind and body, and is particularly interested in how massage benefits mental health. In her spare time, Kayleigh loves being creative, gardening, reading and spending time on the beach!

Kayleigh will be at the Nurture Sanctuary every Monday, offering appointments in:

•Swedish Massage
•Deep Tissue Massage
•Indian Head Massage
