Beaminster Pharmacy Beaminster Pharmacy was established in 1790 and is one of the oldest community pharmacies in the country still in private ownership.

We are proudly independent and welcome everyone to our family-run business. In our private consultation room, we offer a range of NHS services: Smokestop, Chlamydia Testing & Treatment, Emergency Contraception, Minor Ailments, other pharmacy services such as the dispensing of NHS and private prescriptions, provision of compliance aids for people with problems taking their medicines and have been nominated for an award for our Medicines Use Reviews. We offer a free prescription collection & delivery service and work closely with both Barton House and Tunnel Road surgeries. We also offer private services such as travel health advice, blood pressure testing with more coming soon.

Due to severe weather the pharmacy will CLOSE today at 12pm. If you need assistance we have a small team who will be able to offer advice over the phone. Due to legal restrictions we will not be able to sell medicines or give out prescriptions after midday today.

Our delivery service is SUSPENDED today due to the severe weather warning.
