What to expect – YB for Pregnancy?
So, let’s be real, for many of us the first time we are present at the birth of a baby it is our own and by then…. well we are a little past the point of preparing for birth.
YogaBellies for Pregnancy classes are so much more than a yoga class.
YES, we will practice asana (postures) to aid strength and flexibility - pretty key before undertaking one of the most physically demanding things you will do in your life (you wouldn’t turn up for a marathon without a bit of training, would you?).
But ALSO, we will practice deep relaxation and breathing techniques to help you to pause and tune in to your bodies (and babies!) and appreciate the amazing things they are capable of when we trust them, really listen and let go.
FINALLY, and perhaps increasingly importantly we offer a community, a village, a safe space for women to be together and share experiences, concerns, questions and learnings and no doubt a few laughs along the way.
I feel truly honoured to be able to hold space for women journeying through this transformative life stage! If this sounds like something for you, I’d love to hear from you!
