Trained at the The Western School, an established centre of excellence providing professionally recognised massage training, Beth is fully qualified to help ease all aches and pains of everyday life and not just sport-related injuries. Ever find yourself sitting like this in your car in traffic? This could be causing/contributing to your back or neck pain!

I get it. Most like to be comfortable, slouchy and relaxed but the longer we spend in these positions and the more we practice them it can start to affect our posture and back/core muscle balance and strength.

Most, like at their desk, have the arm rest in the car TOO LOW - this causes side flexion of the torso and causes an imbalance in the lower back and core muscles over time. Your left shoulder now will also sit lower than your right, causing your right neck/shoulder muscles to compensate to keep your eyes level - neck muscle imbalance, PAIN!

To add insult to injury you may also rest your right arm on top of the steering wheel, contributing to the elevation of the right shoulder and therefore contributing to potential neck/shoulder imbalances and PAIN!

So try and avoid resting on the arm rest in your car as best you can or at least try and ELEVATE THE ARM REST so it is level with the natural height of your elbow so you don’t have to bend down to the side 😄👍🏼

With so many massage treatments available out there it can be overwhelming or confusing as to what you should get. Would you like a massage for relaxation? For pain relief? For lymphatic drainage? Just a treat?

**DRY CUPPING & CUPPING MASSAGE NOW AVAILABLE**

Due to popularity and demand I have recently become qualified in the ancient technique of cupping!
Believed to be over 5000yo but made popular by the likes of Michael Phelps, cupping has become popular for pain/tension relief, stress/anxiety relief, improving range of movement about the joints and muscle quality.
It uses suction (low-high) to draw fresh blood into tense areas to promote healing and improve blood flow and lymphatic movement.
