👀 At the front desk this evening we discovered a very official new sign… handwritten by our junior (and self-appointed) "Head of Chocolate Acquisitions" — aka our nearly 13 year old daughter, who was dragged into practice to help with the window display during her summer holidays...

(We promise this was not approved by management... 🤣)

We would like to remind you that during the festive season, our opening hours are reduced.
We will close earlier than usual on the 24th December and the 31st of December at 2pm.
We are closed on the 25th and 26th December and the 1st and 2nd of January.
If you have an optical concern or emergency whilst we are closed, please visit NHS Inform or phone NHS24 on 111.
We have had an exceptionally busy year and are looking forward to some down time. We are now booking into February for sight tests - so please bear this in mind when calling to book an appointment.

Natalie's son is raising money for a trip to Tanzania in 2025. A group of 24 students will be funding and buying materials to build homes for those less fortunate - such a great cause! Pop in to the practice for a raffle ticket if you want a chance to win this lovely hamper!

After we suffered water damage in September, we are now having repair work done to replace flooring, the bathroom and various other things that were damaged (insurance companies are never speedy...!l
We have no appointments today or Friday but will be open as normal again on Saturday.
We will try and answer calls and respond to emails when we can.

About Us:
Fraser Optical is a small, friendly practice in the heart of Beauly, dedicated to providing a high level of service to our diverse and loyal customer base. Our practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including OCT and Myah Topography. We specialise in Myopia control and provide a domiciliary service.

Responsibilities:
Dispensing.
Problem-solving to ensure customer satisfaction, addressing individual needs.
Train and mentor junior staff members to uphold our commitment to excellence.
Manage the ordering process for frames, lenses, and other optical supplies.
Assemble spectacles with precision and attention to detail.
Utilise remote edging technology for efficient lens finishing.

Hours:
Monday to Saturday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
One Saturday off per month
No Sundays or evening clinics

As many of you will know, our lovely Vicki was expecting a baby and started her maternity leave at Christmas time. You may have seen her ever expanding bump!
We are delighted to share with you all that Vicki welcomed their beautiful baby boy Ruairidh into the world on the 11th January, weighing 5lb 15oz 🩵
They are home and settled and Vicki and family are over the moon. We are so delighted for them and wanted to share their lovely news 🩵
We will miss Vicki over the next 12 months and can't wait to have her back with us, but what an amazing mum she is already ❤️

As the year end is near, we have been reflecting on 2023 and we are so grateful for your support and custom. We are so lucky to have such wonderful people walk through our door and keep our small business thriving. Beauly is an exceptionally busy village and we couldn't think of a better location for our practice. We have people who travel from all over the country to visit us and we are so humbled that you choose us. We strive to give the best service we can and we feel very appreciated by all of you.
