✨ Mini Core Reset💛
Why do we focus on posture, breath, and relaxation in Hypopressives sessions?

Because these 3 pillars truly support our emotional wellbeing, core & pelvic floor health.

✨ Good posture creates natural alignment for optimal muscle activation.

✨ Hypopressive breathing syncs your core & pelvic floor muscles whilst reducing internal pressures.

✨ Relaxation allows your nervous system to reset, and your muscles to restore.

Working these elements together, your core becomes responsive, resilient, and reflexive — without straining or gripping.

💛 Want to experience it?

Join me for a personalised 1:1 session or book onto a course or workshop on Anglesey, Gwynedd & North Wales.

A picture of me doing my best 'weather girl' impression whilst visiting Llanfairpwllgwyngyll Women's Institute today - the 'home' of Britains WI.

Thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon out, chatting pelvic floors and Hypopressives.

I love sharing this simple & empowering technique, so if you'd like me to come and talk with your group or organisation- don't hesitate to get in touch.

❤️My Tuesday Tip for your Pelvic Floor: Paint your toenails! ❤️

Believe it or not, having flexible toes and feet is important for our pelvic floor health.

This connection thrives through the fascial (connective tissue) network.

Stretching our toes encourages a natural engagement and release of the pelvic floor for better flexibility and function whilst allowing good body alignment, boosting core activation, improving balance, & mobility.

💡So... indulge in a little self-care - use toe stretchers while pampering your nails - your pelvic floor will thank you!

The Link Between Feet and Pelvic Floor 1. Fascial Connections: The plantar fascia is part of a continuous line that connects your feet to the calves, pelvis, and spine. Restrictions in your feet can create tension that impacts pelvic floor function. 2. Posture and Alignment: Limited foot mobility ca...

Let's talk REST & it's importance for those of us in midlife & menopause.

During a follow-up consultation recently, someone told me that one of the most impactful things Hypopressives helped with from the get-go, was learning how to properly switch off and rest. REAL REST- not the pretend kind where she felt too guilty to properly switch off, or was going through endless mental lists.

If you’re juggling aging parents, career stress, or the emotional shift of kids leaving home, rest should't be considered a luxury—but a vital support of your health and well-being. During menopause, hormone changes already disrupt sleep and mood. Without proper rest, issues like anxiety, pelvic floor problems and brain fog can worsen.

✨ Rest helps:
Physical and emotional recovery
Balance mood & stress
Support heart & brain health
Manage weight & cravings
Strengthen your immune system

Neglecting rest can lead to burnout, worsened menopausal symptoms, and even chronic health issues.

Hypopressives are best known for improving core and pelvic floor function, but also have powerful benefits for rest and relaxation and nervous system regulation.

💤 If your body is asking for restoration. Listen. You’ve earned it.💗

Feeling different since menopause?
You’re not alone.

Menopause symptoms are more common than you think. If you have a weak pelvic floor and leaking while you exercise, sneeze, cough or laugh then it’s time to do something about it. As our external body ages so does our internal structure. So looking after and improving our inner workings is just as important as working on what we look like.

Hypopressives trains your inner core and pelvic floor to work together, helping you go from “Leaking to loving life” again.

Hypopressives a 10 minute a day habit that works on your pelvic floor, deep core and improves your posture as well.

A springy pelvic floor is a happy pelvic floor, but too many us end up bracing and over tensing these muscles. This condition, known as a 'hypertonic pelvic floor', ultimately makes the muscles stiff and weak. You might not even notice the tension, but it can show up as;
*Pelvic pain, constant or occasional sharp or dull pain in the pelvic area.
*Uncomfortable s*x or difficulty using tampons.
*Misbehaving bladder, trouble starting to p*e, feeling like you've got go all the time, or not fully emptying your bladder.
*Bowel emptying difficulties.
*Hip or lower back pain or stiffness.
*Heaviness, pressure or a full feeling down below.

These can make daily life, exercise and socialising tough, lower our confidence and add to our stress.

If you suspect you have a hypertonic pelvic floor, follow the link to my webpage or contact me for a chat about how Hypopressives can help. Meanwhile, try whole-body relaxation and gentle deep breathing into the lower rib cage, to ease and free up the pelvic area.

Let’s keep those muscles flexible and joyful!🤩🌷🍀👌🧘‍♀️

🌟Hello lovely people! 🌟
I'm reaching out to those of you who've already enjoyed the positive effects of Hypopressives to help spread the word and let your girlfriends in on the secret of Hypopressives so they can try it too.

I understand that women's health and pelvic floors may not be the easiest or most glamorous topics, but by starting up conversations about them, we can break taboos and support each other.

I have 6 spots left in my upcoming 6-week program, running 6th March to 10th April in Llangoed, where we'll explore how to achieve emotional, physical, and pelvic floor health with Hypopressives.

If you've already started but fallen off the Hypopressives routine, this course could help you get back on track. Plus, if you bring a friend along, the buy 1 get 1 half price discount is still available until the end of January!
Let's do this together!

Lara 😊
