THIS SATURDAY!! I am really looking forward to Forest Play this Saturday 10.30-12 at Llangoed Village Hall gardens. We’ll be celebrating Red Squirrel Appreciation Day with songs and movement, mud kitchen, water play, sensory area and making apple squirrel feeders. There’s lots of parking, access to the toilets and indoor space for any little ones who need to warm up (and of course drinks and snacks)

Monday Llangoed sessions are taking a pause this term- but I’m really looking forward to two Saturday morning sessions happening at Llangoed Village Hall, 10.30-12🌟! We’ll be out in the garden enjoying all the same activities with songs, movement, water-play, mud kitchen, crafts and snacks! Contact Babi Actif via Facebook or Instagram to get booked on. ✨ Advent Spiral ✨
Last week we made our own salt dough advent spirals, and today it’s time to light the first candle. 🕯️
Advent spirals are a beautiful Waldorf tradition- an invitation to slow down, breathe, and welcome the light back into these darker days.
There’s something so grounding about moving the candle one step at a time toward the centre ✨ after each day we add a natural object into each hole that the candles have been in.
Here’s to a gentle start to the season. 💛

This morning’s Babi Actif wreath making session in Llangoed is still going ahead, but due to the heavy rains the forest is a bit too slippery and muddy to explore safely, so we’re moving inside! Meet at the same place, but turn right at the gates (and for those who love the rain- pots and pans are at the ready to make some rain songs outside 🌧️)
