We would like to say that we were asked by South Norfolk District Council to display the Union Flag in honour of VJ Day as a mark of respect for those who fought and for those who lost their lives, for us who are here today.
Gillingham Village Hall is run by a very small team of volunteers for the use of the community. Not to be a victim of vandalism.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated our 100th birthday. Lovely to see so many people.
Many thanks for all the bakers and helpers and to Sam Street-vocalist for entertaining us for the morning.

Join us this Sunday for our regular coffee morning 10-12. We will then be taking a break for the summer returning on 7th September for our annual MacMillan coffee morning. Any donations for the tombola gratefully accepted, thank you.

Thank you to all that came to commemorate VE Day on Sunday. Just a couple of photos for now but will share more soon. Thank you for the kind donations which totalled £227.45 which we will share between Help for Hero’s and The Royal British Legion.
