Silent Day with Yoga and lunch/refeshments.

Half term has ended - the new year is the Fire Horse has arrived.

We are offering you space to restore or renew or refresh your cells and reboot your human software. Allow silence to be your update method.
Few spaces have the ability to offer silence.
Enjoy a day of silence shared beside other silent seekers. Come and find out how silent and sacred our studio and retreat house can be.

We meet from 9.30am for a cuppa and intros before silence starts at 10 am. We will break silence and ease into voice from 4 pm before departures.

Monday 9th Feb - a somatic (and fun) series to dramatically move energy blocks preparing you for your half-term break.

After half-term the Monday yoga classes are focusing on lymph and glandular 'spring-clearing' series with movements that continue purifying your glands and lungs. Our glands are the guardians of our health. Classes are designed to assist you to bounce into Easter time and onwards, with a light step and joyful heart.

We say yoga can ' release the remnants of winter issues in the tissues.' Women in their 40's-60's especially benefit from upper body yogic work and certain transformational breaths.

We are exploring silence in February -and we you can join in!
There's a short silent practice on 10th Feb at 6.30pm -7.45pm - and a longer immersive experience of silence on the 28th Feb - a day starting at 9.30am with the yoga session (optional ) at 10am. This day ends at 5pm and includes lunch.

Do you want to know what happens to 'you' during silence ? Give silence a chance to speak back to you.

North Yorkshire in May is a flourish and fanfare of foliage and green energy. These darling emerging plant buds of May accompanied by our empowering uplifting yoga practices ( doable for all) are the tools we engage with during this self-nourishing retreat weekend.

We do not need to be fixed. We are, at times, perhaps finding life events overwhelm us or we feel a disconnection to ‘what is always there for us.’ Self- compassion.

This retreat is for anyone seeking wisdoms through both transformative yoga for our bodies and the wisdoms held in the great library of the earth between our feet.

The full huge moon in Jupiter shows us the way forward for the start of 2026 classes and the Year of the Brave Horse. A full moon is also a wonderful time to start. A big bright moon reflects its light into you. You are filled with the lightness of being. Radiance. Courage.

Part of understanding ourselves lies in the recognition of our emotional tendencies (women are also 16 times more emotional than men..) which if not channeled through Kundalini Yoga, or some other uplifting practice, might manifest in undesirable ways - both for ourselves and others we share lives with.

When we take that class time for ourselves and receive light and strength from posture held in the cradle of intention and empowered breath by breath - we birth that moonlight in our bodies.

Merry Christmas and New Year magic blessings for the ‘no.1’ year ahead of 2026 - 2+O+2+6 = 10 / or 1

We always end our yoga and retreat year here with this wreath making retreat. It fills the house with the smell of winter foliage and there’s fun and chatter.

If 2025 ended a cycle of 9 years - 2026 is an exciting start of a new one.
