🌿 Keeping Independence Safe 🌿

At 100 years old, EH still loves getting out and about. The outdoors, visits to the farm and garden centres and exploring new places continue to bring her so much joy.

Whilst EH is a falls risk, we believe that supporting independence is not about stopping people from doing the things they love - it is about finding safe ways to continue them.

With carefully planned support and consistent carers, EH is still able to enjoy regular outings and remain active in the community, whilst having the reassurance and support she needs alongside her.

From meeting animals at the farm, to feeding the fish and enjoying days out in Bedford, these moments are so important. They bring confidence, happiness and help maintain the independence that means so much to her.

At GoodOaks Homecare Bedford, we are passionate about providing person-centred home care in Bedford that focuses not only on safety, but also on quality of life.

🐾 A new addition to our home care service in Bedford 🐾

At GoodOaks Homecare Bedford, we are always looking for new ways to enhance the support we provide to our service users.

Thanks to our Registered Manager, Trisha Mabbott, and her local connections through Bedfordshire Care Group, we have recently introduced RoboPets into our Bedford service.

These interactive pets can provide comfort, companionship and reassurance, particularly for people living with . They can help to reduce anxiety, encourage engagement and bring moments of calm, connection and joy in a simple, non-intrusive way.

Seeing the smiles and interaction from the people we support has been truly wonderful 💚

This is a great example of how building the right relationships in the community can lead to meaningful improvements in the care and support we provide.

At GoodOaks Homecare Bedford, we are proud to continue finding new ways to deliver compassionate, person-centred home care in Bedford.
