GoodOaks clients and their families have complimentary access to GoodOaks Virtual GP.

That means our clients can book private appointments with GPs, physiotherapists, mental health professionals and Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) 24/7, 365 days a year, by video or phone, all from the comfort of their own homes. 🏠

This service is included at no extra cost for our clients, giving peace of mind, quicker access to care, and fewer unnecessary hospital visits.

🎄✨ Spreading Christmas Cheer ✨🎄

This Christmas, we were incredibly proud to bring a little extra joy to our service users 💚

Thanks to our Registered Manager Trisha and her daughter’s school, Riseley C of E Primary School, the wonderful children hand-made beautiful Christmas cards especially for the people we support 🎨✉️

Our amazing carers then personally delivered these cards, along with Christmas gifts from us, straight to our service users’ homes 🎁

Moments like this remind us that care is about more than support - it’s about connection, kindness, and community.

A huge thank you to the pupils, staff, and our dedicated carers for helping make this possible ❤️

🎄 A Special Nativity Outing for Our Service Users 🎄

We were delighted to take some of our service users to C of E Primary School to watch their wonderful play. This special visit was kindly arranged by our Registered Manager, Trisha, and gave our service users the chance to enjoy a traditional Christmas performance in a lovely community setting.

Seeing the children perform brought back many fond memories and created smiles all round. Moments like these remind us how important it is to support not just care needs, but also social connection, joy, and community involvement.

💚 Community, kindness and a very special Christmas Sunday roast 💚

At GoodOaks Homecare Bedford, giving back to our community is incredibly important to us - and recently we were honoured to be part of something truly special.

A childhood friend of the GoodOaks Homecare Bedford Director, Forhad Rouf, owner of the much-loved ROCA Restaurant in Bedford, reached out wanting to do something meaningful for older people in our community. On the very day he called, Forhad had stopped his car to allow an elderly lady to cross the road. She reminded him of his late nan, and in that moment he felt compelled to give something back.

His idea was simple but powerful: to invite some of our service users and their families to ROCA and treat them to his famous .

We arranged the meal carefully so it wouldn’t disrupt scheduled home visits and would also give some well-deserved respite to unpaid family carers. What followed was an unforgettable experience.

Despite our offer to contribute, Forhad completely refused to share the cost - his belief is firm that giving back to the community is paramount. The restaurant even opened outside of normal hours, with Forhad and Head Chef Rahman personally attending to serve our guests. And although the Sunday roast is only available on Sundays, they specially prepared a Christmas Roast on a weekday just for our special guests!

Everyone absolutely loved the experience, and Chef Rahman’s food was simply amazing.

A huge thank you to ROCA Restaurant for their generosity, warmth and community spirit.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season with our incredible team 💚

Our 'Fusion' Christmas Party was all about saying to the amazing frontline who give so much every single day. These photos show just some of our beautiful and diverse team, who are truly the heart of our service.

As a small token of thanks, every member of staff received a Christmas goody bag of gifts - and our Director, Shaz, personally cooked for the team as a heartfelt thank you 🎁🍽️

Without our frontline staff, our amazing service simply wouldn’t be possible. We are so grateful for everything you do and wish you all a very Merry Christmas 🎄✨
