By day, we were named WorkBuzzWorkBuzz Best Franchise – Management, and by night, we picked up the Franchisor of the Year – Expanding award at British Franchise Association Awards. Not a bad shift!

These awards mean a huge amount to us and are a real reflection of the passion, commitment and care shown by everyone across the GoodOaks network.

And of course, a big thank you to the BFA team for an unforgettable conference and evening celebrating everything that’s great about franchising. We’re still smiling (and maybe still carrying our trophies around the office… 🏆 )

💚 Carer Spotlight: 'IM' 💚

IM is one of the shining stars of our Bedford Care Team - recently crowned Care Team of the Year 2025. 🏆

We first met her at the local Job Centre jobs fair. After a chat and an interview, we knew she had the heart and compassion to make a wonderful Care Professional. Since then, she’s become adored by her service users and highly valued by her colleagues.

At a recent appraisal, she moved the whole office to tears when she shared how grateful and happy she is to be working with us - at 65, she wasn’t sure she’d find another job.

There were hugs, tears - and a moment none of us will forget. 🥹

IM is shy and doesn’t want to share her photo - but her story is too inspiring not to celebrate. She proves that it’s never too late to find purpose, joy, and a new chapter in life. 💕

We’re so proud of her, and grateful that she wants to continue caring with us for many years to come. 🌟
