Fully Certified and Insured Therapist For most of my working career I have been in Retail or Hospitality Management. The latter was opening and managing a small Hotel business and a Hostel jointly with my partner in the beautiful city of Chiang Mai in Thailand. This was a wonderful challenge, managing the business, ethical tours & treks, organising activities and also being the go-to for everyone's problems. Holistic wellness has always been deep inside me but the constant "hamster wheel" of life always kept me from going within. For quite a number of years before leaving the UK, I worked within clinical settings, assisting with the recovery support for Acquired Brain Injury and Spinal Injuries (both hospital based and private). It was during this time that I learned just how fragile we humans really are and how much pain the body can endure before it becomes too much. I also learned the absolute need for, and the profound effect that holistic healing and touch has on treating the whole person and not just the physical pain or injury. The mind affects the body and the body affects the mind, not to mention what it does to the nervous system!! It was over these years living abroad that I found the space and time to reflect on my life, and the realisations that my own struggles had not just affected my stress levels and mental health but also my body in general, most notably with stomach issues. I finally embraced my own need for healing and tried to stop putting ailments down to weakness. Keep moving forward.... Keep ticking off the successes, no matter the cost? No, it was costing me too much, in all areas of my life. I embraced it all, and sought what I needed to help me overcome the hurdles that just kept popping up, even during good times. Therapies. Talking. Moving. Meditation. Mindfulness. Therapies, to help bring you back to yourself. To the person who wants be living with their calm, more relaxed and mindful self. To the person that is able to navigate the storms of life and know how to embrace them with ease. There is no doubt, that the dis-ease of the mind affects the body and spirit in the worst ways. But, there are ways to repattern the way you think and feel. I would feel privileged to be the person to guide you. So, here I am, a practitioner, a teacher and healer. This has become my gift to share with those willing to seek a breakthrough. Having gained the insight, experience, knowledge and invaluable tools to help anyone who needs it. Our sessions will encompass a variety of practices that focus on the interconnectedness of mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
