About Us
The True You Hub has been created by women, just like you, who were looking for more than just weight loss, although that was the first step! Emma Bowman Smith is the founder & CEO of The True You Hub and she has walked this very path herself: in 2019, she decided enough was enough and that she finally deserved to fall in love with her body again and to become the woman she knew was hiding inside. After a lifetime of yo-yo diets, she lost a total of 5 stone (31KG) in under a year and has maintained ever since. However, her journey was not just about weight loss, and it took her on a journey of self-discovery of mind, body, and soul. She harnessed the pathways to achieve real contentment and is passionate that this same, simple journey is available to all women across the world! Emma is married & has raised six beautiful children. She is a three times survivor of cancer, has a degree in Psychology in Practice, is a qualified Health Coach, and a successful entrepreneur. Emma recently sold her thriving Facilities Management company to focus fully on her passion to help women become the best version of themselves. Our Journey
The True You Hub has been created by Emma Bowman Smith and, because we believe in keeping life simple, she was joined by Emma Lloyd! Our two Emma’s met in 2020 when, in the midst of the global pandemic, they each embarked on their own journey of transformation. Their paths crossed along the way and then, having achieved success in health and significant weight loss, they went on to work together, coaching, and mentoring thousands of women across the world to achieve similar results. As their friendship grew, so did their experience and knowledge. Weight loss had transformed their lives but they both still felt that something was missing; they both agreed that although they looked like the best versions of themselves, they weren’t quite “feeling” it! They had expected that losing the weight they had longed to shed for so many years, would make them feel whole & entirely satisfied with who they were….but it didn’t. The belief that the extra weight they carried was the biggest problem had taken up space, and bought a misguided belief that once it was gone, everything would fall into place. But the obsession with self-image, was masking a crucial investment in self-awareness! So, they set about educating themselves even further. They studied research, and the science behind what makes us feel whole, complete and the very best we can be, and why some things worked for some and why others categorically did not. They gained experience, earned industry recognised qualifications and as they did so, they discovered complimentary disciplines and met other industry experts and leaders in their fields. Crucially, they uncovered the truth that if you are not paying attention to all four pillars of wellness (Health, Heart, Mind & Soul) then not only will you never fill in those missing pieces of the jigsaw, but that maintaining a slim and healthy body, is almost impossible! It’s well known that the secret to losing weight and keeping it off is mindset, but how do you develop the right mindset…forever?? No other weight loss plan delivers attention to the cornerstones of wellbeing to help women become the best versions of themselves, in every way, and for life! Together, Emma and Emma learned that another key was to bring women together on their journeys: women gathering as a community to build life changing habits, to make new discoveries and to share their authentic selves. They knew that together, they could create something really special. Something that would touch all four pillars of wellbeing and create lasting change.
