1 week to go until we meet again in the cozy yurt at The Clophill Centre to explore The Mystery Teachings of ancient Egypt.

In this cacao + blue lotus ceremony we will connect to god Ptah.

Ptah is the father of beginnings, he created the world thinking with his heart and producing it with his speech. The bringer of the golden age and the new aeon. Architect of the world and patron deity of craftsmen, architects, artists, and artisans and loved by ‘the common people’. When we tap into his vision, he can help us to harness the ability to speak things into being and manifest our reality. In this ceremony we will look at what we want call into existence and through the act of ‘opening the mouth, Ptah encourages us to speak our truth and reawaken within.

This event will include:

-ceremonial grade cacao
-blue lotus
-a shamanic journey
-sacred smoke (frankincense)
-intention setting
-a sharing circle
-tuning fork healing
-shamanic drumming

This is an opportunity to connect to the ancient wisdom of Kemet (Egypt). Embarking on a shamanic journey, we will activate the third eye and heart space, allowing us to go deeper and explore the mystery teachings of the blue lotus, beautifully accompanied by the heart opening plant medicine cacao.

The Temple of Hathor at Dendera isn’t just an archaeological wonder — it’s deeply infused with spiritual symbolism and mystical practices.

It’s a temple of joy, love and healing. 🤍

The goddess Hathor- ‘Het- Hert’ - ‘The House Above’ - is known as the lady of the sky. She is the goddess of beauty, love, fertility, music, dance and considered to be the divine mother.

Priests and priestesses performed various sound therapy techniques using sistrums, chants / or prayers, believing that the vibrations could heal emotional and physical ailments. The temple’s design incorporates sacred geometry and resonant acoustics. It is believed that chanting and music within the hypostyle hall could activate energy centers in both the body and spirit.

Pilgrims traveled to Dendera seeking fertility blessings and spiritual purification. Every year, Hathor’s statue was carried in a ceremonial procession to Edfu, where she would unite with Horus in a sacred marriage festival. This ritual represented cosmic harmony, the balance of masculine and feminine energies, and the renewal of life force. Pilgrims believed witnessing or participating in this festival brought spiritual blessings and fertility.

The temple was built with precise astronomical alignment. During key times of the year, sunlight would enter the sanctuary and illuminate Hathor’s inner shrine, symbolizing cosmic union. The Dendera Zodiac, carved on the ceiling of one of the chapels, depicts astrological knowledge and suggests that the temple was as an observatory for tracking celestial events. This alignment represents the idea that humanity is interconnected with cosmic rhythms.

Meet me in this stunning strawbale studio on Wednesday 10th September 7-9pm at Michael's Folly in Hertfordshire to connect to the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor- 'Het- Hert' - 'The House Above' - known as the lady of the sky.

She is the goddess of beauty, love, fertility, music and dance. She Is linked to joy and celebration and the sistrum. This is an ancient Egyptian ritual instrument that is sacred to her and this will be used in this ceremony.

In this ceremony we will fully drop into our heart spaces activating love , to help us to identify what it is that truly brings us to pleasure. We will also embark on a shamanic journey to receive a teaching from the goddess Hathor that will be of benefit to us now.

Join us for this elemental sound journey with cacao, blue lotus and gentle embodied movement. This is more than just a sound bath - it’s a ceremonial journey for the soul. No prior experience is needed and movement is optional. Just come with an open heart and willingness to receive!

Step into a sacred space where ancient plant medicines and healing sound frequencies will guide you on a deeply transformative inner voyage. From earth to ether this is a journey of awakening, remembrance and inner alchemy.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Guided by two facilitators (Stephanie and Elaine) we will combine the two sacred plant allies cacao (earth) and blue lotus (ether) to take you on a journey through the 5 elements, earth, water, fire, air and ether. These stages correspond beautifully with the 5 phases of the blue lotus, adding an extra layer to your journey. A symbolic journey of unfolding and transformation. ABOUT THE BLUE LOTUS

The blue lotus is a sacred plant bearing significant spiritual symbolism and has been used in ritual and medicine for thousands of years. In Ancient Egypt the blue lotus symbolised the ‘origin of life’ and was also associated with rebirth. It was thought that the flowers ability to emerge from the mud through the murky depths of water and spread its petals to the sun was a metaphor for ‘life emerging from the shadows into the light’.
