By observing your body and looking out for postural imbalances, going through the functional movements of the body and isolating soft tissue and nerves to test for any signs or symptoms. Sports therapy is a non invasive and safe way of looking at the body from a biomechanical point of view, and helping you to take the steps to recovery of the body as a whole and prevent the likelihood of future injury or reinjury.
Your consultation will consist of the therapist looking at your body as a whole and then carrying out a set of standardised tests which involve taking the joints through their normal range of motion. There are also a number of functional tests, like balance and co-ordination, that enable us to understand more as to why you are moving the way you do and how we can help.
