Today we reflected during our monthly Holy Communion service and then enjoyed a history lesson with Lucy! We had a full house this afternoon when we welcomed Evie and Monty, our fabulous volunteers from Sharnbrook Academy for our regular popular bingo activity ❤️

Some of our residents were very focused with our 'spot the odd one out' challenge! Our flower arranging continues to brighten up the home and it was an absolute pleasure to welcome back the lovely Marion with her ukelele giving us a good old traditional sing song much loved by all!

In addition to other popular activites our residents have been busy preparing decorations for St David's Day! 😀

We had a great time making, tossing and eating our delicious pancakes!! Our green fingered resident Ruth was keen to get into the sunshine planting our first seeds of spring! We are looking forward to brighter longer days ...... We also enjoyed a popular visit from Acorn Nursery this week.

What a lovely valentines weekend it's been! On Saturday morning we made the most of the sunshine out in the garden. We heard lots of birds, including a Wren, Nuthatch and Woodpecker. Later, we were chuffed to get our jigsaw completed. We've enjoyed making some valentines cards and crafts and on Sunday, at our regular hymn service, we learnt more about St Valentine and his story. 🐦🌞🧩💒

On Monday, we took a wonderful trip down memory lane, talking and sharing stories about fashion and food from the 1950's. Marjorie had the great idea to create a collage using the photos we'd shared, and we spent a lovely morning putting our display together. We uncovered so many photos in the M&S archives.

Our week has incorporated some of our favourite regular activities with thanks to and for their popular visits to Sharnbrook House.
