Sharnbrook House Sharnbrook House is situated within the village of Sharnbrook between Bedford and Rushden. It is set in extensive gardens with its own lake and terraces.

The home itself is very spacious with large windows allowing the light to flood in.

We did ourselves proud with an impressive score on our interactive global quiz this month competing with other homes across the world. We have also enjoyed our regular visitors for Holy Communion and Bobby V Fitness as well as indulged in some sweet treats and popcorn for our movie afternoon!!

Many thanks to friends and family who attended our Summer raffle draw event today and all those who donated prizes and/or purchased tickets! It was a very successful afternoon enjoyed by everyone. It was eyes down for a full house with our weekly bingo and many thanks to the lovely Evie for her regular visits to help us with our popular activities. We don't need an excuse to bring out the sweet trolly with something for everyone. We remembered the availability of the humble mint imperial during the war when other sweets were hard to come by. Oh and a very Happy Birthday to our Keith who turned another year this week! 🎂 🥳

We took our Games Club on the road again this week to Ready, Steady Roll in Sharnbrook. Despite an impressive array of board games we opted for good old Dominoes again! We have also stretched and flexed with our regular visit from Bobby V Fitness. In preparation for autumn our first hand crafted bird seed feeders are now displayed in our garden and we all took a double glance noticing how much our sunflowers have shot up so quickly!

It's been a productive weekend here at Sharnbrook House. In our gardening club, we've enjoyed getting outdoors to plant broad beans and poppy seeds, whilst inside we've been busy taking plant cuttings. 🪴 We also took some time to relax and play games! 🎾😍

It's been hotting up this week. We have enjoyed spending time in the morning shade admiring our beautiful gardens and flowers. We also had a trip out in the mini bus taking our Dominoes Club into the community and were welcomed at in Podington. We said a fond farewell to Georgia who left us to pursue her career in nursing and, although sad to see her go, we wish her all the best. We have, of course also enjoyed many of our usual popular weekly activities within the home.
