Between clients & life yesterday, I took some pictures capturing the beauty of light, darkness, the sun, the moon, nature- my love of shrooms! At The Lunar Lounge.
I sat alone with my cacao last night, listening to the owls and the crackling of the burning fire- Thinking about all the stories, emotions, transformations that this space has witnessed, held and been a big or small part of over the years- including my own. What an honour that has been and continues to be
I’ve been sitting with a heavy heart, rage, irritation an aching womb the last few days- the blood moon, eclipse season, world affairs- the files, wars, disruption, divide, acts of violence, dismantling of outdated structures both externally and internally.
Although I do not engage in media coverage, I am a deeply sensitive and empathetic human- I cannot help but feel affected by the collective pain right now.
I was also reminded of the beauty of the seasons, the light and dark that exists in all of us, appreciation of tiny little creatures & nature (can you spot them in the pictures) and that I can always choose where my focus goes, what I engage in and consume!
As I looked on at the empty chairs in front of me, I remembered all the beautiful ceremony’s & gatherings I’ve held here- it’s been a while since we breathed together, danced together, held each other, shared stories round the fire, no performance, no hierarchy- just humans being humans together!
I’ve missed it soooooo much!!! And feel a calling to open up the space again for this, a reminder of community, of love, of joy, that good people exist- while the world tries to divide us for having different backgrounds, different beliefs or making different choices - I’m choosing acceptance, love and humanity.
My motto has always been- “Come as you are” with your grief, your anger, your joy, your fears, your inspiration- wherever you are at, you’re welcome!
So I’ve opened up the space for a spring equinox evening gathering on Friday 20th March- nothing fancy, or scheduled itinerary- simple movement, cacao, community, nourishment around the fire 🔥
