☀️The next spiral of the wheel after the summer solstice is always the hottest 🔥🥵.... It can get really hot in the cabin, so through these next few weeks here is how I keep my clients and myself cool and balanced, ensuring they can make the most of their treatments... easy homemade electrolyte drinks, which will help replenish all the salts and minerals that are lost through sweating. ...and definitely no ice! (For the why on that head to my Green Witchery page 🌿✨🧙🏼‍♀️)

So for the tastiest cooling electrolyte drink, here's my recipe;

In a jug of room temperature filtered water add a handful each of lemon balm and mint, 🌿
Add a chunk of ginger 🫚
Slices of lemon, 🍋 lime 🍋‍🟩 & cucumber 🥒
Hibiscus 🌺
Allow to steep and keep topped up.

Use what you have, any of these work, so if you haven't got something, don't sweat it (😉 see what I did there😜😂🤪🥵😅💦)

I'm often asked by students and clients what my favourite treatment is.... That's a really tough one .... as they're all so different, and when you work intuitively they all flow and merge...no one size fits all, even when teaching!

But if pushed, then to give, it would have to be reflexology, combined with a bit of reiki, sound healing and meditation.... with reflexology being my favourite to have, and reflex zone therapy and reiki being my favourites to teach ... Lol, I think, well, today anyway, but the myofascial work and natural lift facials are high up there too! 😄

Due to a couple of regular clients moving away, I have availability for taking on some new clients, with booking slots free coming up July and August.

Did you know that waxy ears can be one of the many symptoms to appear during perimenopause and menopause??
hormonal changes during menopause, specifically the decrease in estrogen, can lead to drier mucous membranes in the inner ear, potentially causing excessive earwax production and buildup.

One of the fascinating facts we learned on the ear candling training today!!

Thermal auricular therapy, or ear candling can help alleviate many head, ear, nose and throat symptoms, including seasonal allergies, headaches and blocked sinuses, it's really relaxing too! I think its a very under valued therapy...so easy to learn, especially if you're already working as a therapist.

It's one of the courses I teach, as well as offer as a treatment.
