The Gut-joint Connection.

Did you know that your gut plays a huge role in joint health. When your digestion is not working properly, it can disrupt oestrogen levels, leading to joint pain.

Poor digestion leads to inflammation and nutrient deficiencies, both of which worsen joint pain.

Signs of Poor Digestion:

- Bloating
- Gas
- Fatigue
- Constipation/Diarrhoea
- Heartburn/Acid Reflux
- Food intolerances
- Skin Irritation

So if you are feeling achy, tired and struggling just to walk up and the stairs, something as simple as boosting your fibre intake might just help.

Start by adding more fibre-rich foods to your diet like:

* leafy green vegetable
* Berries
* Nuts and Seeds
* Sweet potatoes

Also adding fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, to your meals. They are packed with probiotics that support digestion.

Limit processed foods and sugar to decrease gut inflammation.
