Strange's Sports Massage Therapy offers competitively priced treatments targeting each clients needs

The prime purpose of sports massage therapy is to help relieve stress and tension which builds up in the body's soft tissue during exercise. Where injuries or lesions occur due to overexertion and/or overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively. Regular massage can prevent those niggling injuries that often get in the way of performance and achievement, whether you are an athlete, a fun runner or a gym enthusiast. Strange's Sports Massage Therapy is committed to:
- Alleviating stress and tension which builds up within the body's soft tissue
- Aiding athletic training and performance
- Helping athletes recover more efficiently
- Preventing / treating injuries

Strange's Sports Massage Therapy is based in Bedford but also operates in Horsham once a month. Prices:
£25 for 30 minutes
£45 for 1 hour

Please note that these treatment prices are based on a client visiting Strange's Sports Massage Therapy at the treatment room in Bedford.

This isn’t the post I want to be writing and it’s been an incredibly tough decision, but unfortunately I will be closing Strange’s Sports Massage.

It’s been a real pleasure treating so many of you since I started this business back in 2017, however with the recent new arrival in our family I want to spend more time with my daughter and work/training/massage just isn’t leaving enough time.

Thank you so much to you all for your continued support over the years. I wish you all the best for the future!

You may have heard the news already, but I’m so happy to be able to announce that Strange’s Sports Massage Therapy is reopening as of Monday!!

Hi everyone, hope you’re all staying safe and keeping busy in these strange times!! Personally, I have been focussing on building my mileage over the last few weeks, but it’s important that we don’t forget about rehab at a time when we can’t just book in and see a physio!

So I just thought I’d share a few tips for making sure you keep yourself in good nick. Firstly, start utilising the old foam roller or massage stick again! I’ve been using my massage gun as well which is great for a quick general loosener. Rolling a cricket/hockey ball around your glutes will keep them loose (don’t forget to roll out the sole of your foot too!) and also now is the time to use those resistance bands to work on any weaknesses and activation work 👌🏻

Finally don’t forget about the basics like stretching after an easy run, doing hot/cold water therapy or even just having a warm bath. I also like using some compression sleeves and some quad compression to help my recovery after a tough session or long run.
