Season’s Greetings from The Clophill Centre - Richard, Katarina Diss & all the team who help enable the centre to flourish.
As the year turns and we gather in the quiet magic of Christmas and the promise of a New Year, we find ourselves reflecting with deep gratitude on all that has unfolded at The Clophill Centre over the past twelve months.
This year has seen a deepening of self exploration among participants, particularly those stepping into the transformative journey of Vision Quest with Jerry and others. These experiences have strengthened our shared intention to listen more closely—to ourselves, to one another, and to the natural world that holds us.
We have also celebrated many tangible developments on the land. The arrival of a new tipi has created a beautiful additional ceremonial space, while the artistic and creative skills of Tony the wood maker, have embodied the spirit of Guardians for the Roundhouse, with craftsmanship and care. The Fledglings School has continued to grow and take root, becoming ever more established at Clophill.
Perhaps most importantly, this year has brought a greater understanding of the need for respect and giving gratitude for the land itself and for all the sacred ceremonial areas held here. We hope this will grow and continually weave a more loving, harmonious energy throughout Clophill, one that supports healing, belonging, and balance for all who come.
Looking ahead to the coming year, we are inspired by new projects that will further honour life and spirit. One such vision is the creation of a flowing water area dedicated to honouring the Spirits of Life — a place for reflection, ceremony, cleansing and renewal, flowing in harmony with the land.
As we step into the New Year together, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has walked alongside us—participants, teachers, guardians, children, and friends of the Centre. May this festive season bring you rest, warmth, and connection, and may the year ahead be filled with growth, harmony, and renewed relationship with the living world.
With love and gratitude, The Clophill Centre Team
