These images show a before-and-after skin analysis, which allows us to visualise barrier integrity, inflammation, pigmentation activity, and hydration distribution beneath the surface of the skin.

Let’s break down what you’re seeing 👇

BEFORE: Compromised Skin Barrier

In the initial images, we can see:
• High levels of red and yellow signal
• Diffuse inflammation across the cheeks, nose, and forehead
• Uneven hydration and disrupted lipid structure
• Increased transepidermal water loss (TEWL)

This tells us the skin barrier was impaired, meaning the skin was more reactive, dehydrated, vulnerable to pigmentation, and less able to protect itself.
