On this Mindful Monday, let’s reflect on yesterday…

Motherhood is beautiful… but it’s also busy.

Most days, I’m being called from three different directions,
“Mum where’s my…?”
“Mum can you…?”
“Mum I need…”

(That’s not even including Sandeep asking if I’ve sent this payment, or posted this document or ordered this gift…)

And I love it. Truly.

But yesterday morning I gave myself something simple…
a little pocket of time.

No rushing.
No multitasking.
No one calling my name.

Just a quiet moment to get ready slowly, actually put on a little bit of make up, enjoy my hot tea, breathe and listen to the music I wanted to…

I still had little people come in and out but the sound of laughter and giggles made me smile.

Because the truth is, the better we look after ourselves, the more of ourselves we have to give.

To all the mums and women, holding a hundred things together every day,
