Rise Sober – Recovery meeting 🌅🦅

🗓 Monday 27th April | ⏰ 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Topic: Service

Service isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about being present.

In recovery, service is what takes us out of our own heads and into connection with others. It can be as simple as showing up, listening, sharing honestly, or supporting someone else who’s struggling.

When we give, we grow.
When we help others, we strengthen our own recovery.

Sometimes the smallest act of service can change someone’s day — including your own.

Come and join us this Monday as we explore what service means in our recovery and in our daily lives.

Topic: HEALING

Healing doesn’t always look like progress.
Sometimes it’s just getting through the day…
sometimes it’s sitting with things instead of running.

Tonight isn’t about having the answers.
It’s about giving yourself the space to begin… or continue.

Wherever you are in your journey — you’re welcome here. 🤍
No pressure. No expectations. Just come as you are.

Zoom Meeting

Topic: HEALING

Healing doesn’t always look like progress.
Sometimes it’s quiet…
sometimes it’s messy…
sometimes it just means getting through the day without going back to old ways.

The truth is — healing isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about gently returning to who you were before the pain.

✨ “Healing takes time… and that’s okay.”

If things have been heavy lately…
If you’re holding onto stuff you don’t talk about…
If you’re just trying to stay steady…

Come and sit with us.

No pressure. No expectations.
Just a space to be real and take it one step at a time 🤍

🌅 Rise Sober – Monday Night Meeting 🦅
Topic: Faith

Faith doesn’t have to be loud.
It doesn’t have to be perfect.

Sometimes… it’s just a quiet willingness to try again.

✨ “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

For many of us, faith starts small —
just showing up,
just listening,
just being open.

It’s not about having all the answers.
It’s about being willing to take the next step…
even when we don’t fully understand the path.

Over time, faith becomes something we experience —
in connection,
in shared stories,
in the moments we realise we’re not alone.

🌅 Rise Sober - Bank Holiday Monday Meeting 🦅

Topic: Self Care

In recovery, self care isn’t selfish — it’s essential. It’s how we stay grounded, present, and able to show up for life and those we love.

"We are not cured of alcoholism. What we really have is a daily reprieve dependent on the maintenance of our spiritual condition."

Self care is part of that daily maintenance.Rest. Routine. Honesty. Connection.

🌅 Rise Sober – Bank Holiday Monday In-Person and online Meeting 🦅

On Monday, we will come together to talk about Self Care.

Recovery isn’t just about staying sober…
It’s about learning how to look after ourselves — physically, mentally, and spiritually.
For many of us, self-care is something we’re only just beginning to understand.

Sometimes it’s rest.
Sometimes it’s honesty.
Sometimes it’s just getting through the day without going back.

“You can’t pour from an empty cup.”

Let’s take time this week to check in with ourselves and each other.

We’ll be meeting in person and on Zoom, so wherever you are, you’re welcome to join us.

Waheguru kirpa kare – may Gods grace guide us all on this journey 🙏🏽

Rise Sober – Monday Night Meeting (Zoom Only) 🌅🦅

This week’s topic is Responsibility.

Responsibility isn’t about blame — it’s about ownership.
It’s about recognising where we are today and choosing how we move forward.

In recovery, responsibility can look like:
• Showing up even when we don’t feel like it
• Being honest with ourselves and others
• Taking action instead of avoiding
• Letting go of excuses and stepping into change

As it says in AA:
“We are not responsible for our disease, but we are responsible for our recovery.”

And:
“Each day is a new opportunity to take responsibility for our lives.”

It’s not always easy… but it’s where growth begins.

Join us Monday evening for a safe, supportive space to share and listen.

🌅 Letting Go – Rise Sober Weekly Meeting 🦅

One of the biggest turning points in recovery is learning to let go.

Let go of the past we can’t change.
Let go of resentment that weighs us down.
Let go of trying to control everything around us.

It’s not easy… but it’s where peace begins.

This Monday, we come together to share our experiences around Letting Go — what it means, what it feels like, and how we practice it one day at a time.

Whether you’re early in recovery or have years behind you, your voice matters.
