Today is World Meditation Day 🌿

And honestly?

I think more of us need spaces where we can simply pause for a little while.

Not perform.
Not achieve.
Not “fix ourselves”.
Just breathe.
Rest.
Notice how we actually feel underneath the noise of everyday life.

Meditation doesn’t need to look perfect.
You don’t need to silence your mind.
You don’t need to be flexible, spiritual or good at relaxing.

You just need a willingness to arrive as you are 💜

To celebrate World Meditation Day, I’m gifting one free space at Saturday morning’s meditation session.

Sometimes “a holistic, evidence-based look at your health and wellbeing” can sound a little serious or overwhelming… but really, this work is about helping people pause, zoom out, and simplify things a little.

Some mornings, the nervous system isn’t asking for motivation… it’s asking for a hearth 🔥

A place to soften. To land. To stop bracing for a little while.

That’s where the name The Quiet Hearth came from.

Not just a fireplace… …but the feeling of warmth, safety, rest and being gently held after life has felt loud for too long.

I think a lot of us crave that feeling more than we realise. Especially when we’ve been “pushing through” for weeks.

So today, this is your reminder that calm is productive too 💜

A slow cup of tea. Five quiet minutes. A cosy blanket. A deep breath before the next task.

Someone asked me the other day if I “still do Weleda”.

TBH, I had actually planned to give it up this year, purely because 2 jobs and a family take up a lot of my time and I don’t feel like I can give it the spotlight it deserves.

(Between the amazing ingredients, the biodynamic growing methods, and the emphasis on protecting the soil, they deserve a spotlight IMHO)

I even tried personally looking at other skincare brands, but honestly found it really overwhelming. Apparently my skin NEEDS several ingredients in skincare products… but there is still so much crap in there that I don’t need 🫣

Anyway, this is the actual point of the post 🤣

If you ever want to chat about natural skincare, Weleda products, or simple swaps, I am here for that. Maybe not immediately, but I will get back to you 💜

Last week I shared a community wellbeing poll on Facebook, around stress, hormones, family life, overwhelm, exhaustion, and the quiet weight so many people carry day to day.

One of the options people chose most was: ✨ “I need more energy.”

Not just caffeine or “push through the day” energy… but the kind that helps you feel more like yourself again.

At the same time, I’d been spending time working on my oracle card deck and creative projects, and somewhere along the way this simple reflection exercise began transforming into symbolic characters and visual slides inspired by the different answers people gave 👀

The Dawn Walker became the symbol for those who chose energy.

The people quietly trying to reconnect with their spark. Trying to move forward even when life feels heavy. Trying to find a little more motivation, clarity, vitality, or hope again 💜
