Lenadoon Community Counselling Service attended Stormont this week to support the launch of the inquiry by the All Party Group on Su***de Prevention into cross departmental funding for su***de prevention.

Northern Ireland continues to experience unacceptably high suicidal rates. With 290 registered su***de deaths in 2024, it’s time to call for action.

The inquiry will examine how su***de prevention is currently funded in N.I and how this can be strengthened.

We are encouraging everyone to please take the time to complete the survey via the link below.

Our Weekend Crisis Intervention Service will operate as normal over the Christmas period, providing telephone and face to face support.
