Sometimes we get caught up in the relentless pursuit of physical changes that we neglect the importance of overall health, balance and nourishment.
I know I sure did! Both pictures here are similar lighting with no makeup. And for me personally I feel they reflect the internal positive changes I achieved through balanced nutrition and lifestyle changes.
I want to help people drown out the noise that a certain body shape equates to health or not. I want to show that nourishment and balance is what truly matters.
I may have been aesthetically thinner in the first picture, but I think you can see my face tells a different story. I had constant breakouts, low energy/strength and constant stomach and hormonal issues. And best of all I didn’t even feel confident being smaller!
Does that mean you can’t have physical goals? Not at all, I have my own strength and fitness goals. But Let’s focus on nourishing our bodies from the inside out.
Let’s focus on self care and practicing self love.
Let’s curate a lifestyle that fuels instead of depletes.
Let’s never play small again.
We can’t be tanks with nothing in our engines 😎
