Live Music with Trevor Dixon! 🎷🎶

We had a fantastic afternoon with Trevor Dixon, who joined us for a wonderful live music session. Our residents loved listening to the accordion, recorder, and saxophone performances, joining in for a singalong and tapping along to some well-loved favourites. 🎵✨

A huge thank you to Trevor for bringing such joy and great music to our home, we can’t wait to have you back! 💛

A Visit from the School of Music. 🪕🎶

We had such a lovely visit from the School of Music, who filled our home with familiar songs to singalong to! Our residents throughly enjoyed listening to the music, tapping along and some even got up to dance!

They’ll be back again this Thursday from 2–4pm, and we’d love to welcome all families and friends to join us for another wonderful afternoon. 💛

Familiar music and fond memories with Frank. 🎶

We had a wonderful morning filled with music and memories as Frank joined us for some live singing. 🎤✨

It was pamper day in our home, and what a treat it was! 🥰

Our residents enjoyed fresh haircuts and beautiful blow dries from Rosaleen’s lovely daughter, leaving everyone feeling refreshed and fabulous! Meanwhile, Chloe added to the relaxation with soothing hand massages, manicures, and freshly painted nails. 🩷

A wonderful afternoon of self-care, smiles, and a little extra sparkle! ✨

We had a toe-tapping afternoon with the talented musicians from the School of Music. 🎸🎶

They treated us to some wonderful songs and guitar playing, encouraging our residents to sing along, tap their toes, and even dance to the rhythm! 🕺

We’re delighted they’ll be joining us every Thursday at 2-4pm for the next five weeks, come along and enjoy the tunes next time! 🎵😊

A little creativity and lots of colour filled our afternoon with scratch art fun. ✨

Our residents spent a relaxing afternoon enjoying scratch art, carefully scratching back the surface to reveal the beautiful, bright colours underneath. 🌈

It was a relaxing way to spend time together, sparking conversation, smiles, and a sense of achievement as their beautiful artworks were completed. 💛

Tapping toes, traditional music, and the magic of Irish Dance. 🎶💃🏻

Our residents were delighted to welcome the talented young dancers from Mulvenna School of Irish Dance. Their energy, enthusiasm, and incredible talent brought so much joy and happiness to everyone watching. ☘️

It was an especially meaningful afternoon for our resident Kathleen O’Connor, who once taught the school’s teacher herself… a beautiful full-circle moment! 💚
