Our home was filled with Christmas music throughout the day as we enjoyed visits from two wonderful choirs. 🎄❤️

We started the morning with the lovely pupils of St Kieran’s Primary School, followed by a festive evening performance from the Crescendo Choir. 🎶

It was a wonderfully musical day, full of familiar carols, singing along, and festive cheer enjoyed by everyone. 🥰

Everyone at Brooklands Care Home, Dunmurry would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful Care Assistant, Louise McDonald, as she celebrates an incredible 30 years of service. 💐

Are you creative, compassionate, and love working with people? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We’re hiring an Activities Therapist to lead a fulfilling programme at Brooklands Care Home, Dunmurry.

⏰ 30 hours per week
💰 £14.10 per hour

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

✔️ Co-ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for our residents throughout the year
✔️ Activities should be person centred, catering to a range of individual preferences across abroad spectrum of activities including but not limited to; beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre.
✔️ Responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards.
✔️ Fundraising will be required and therefore previous experience will be an advantage.
✔️ Candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated and have the skills necessary to ensure a varied programme of both group & one to one activities are provided to our residents.

A musical afternoon with Ran! 🎤

This weekend, our residents and their families enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of music as Ran returned to perform for us. It was a lovely time of shared songs, gentle dancing, and meaningful moments spent together. 💛✨
