After planting carrot seeds a little while ago, he was delighted to harvest his very own homegrown carrots this week. 🥕👏

We’re so proud of his dedication and love for gardening. Watching something grow from seed to harvest is such a rewarding experience, and Adrian reminds us how meaningful these moments can be. 🥰

I am a Senior Care Assistant at Brooklands Dunmurry, but above all, I am a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a passionate caregiver for the elderly.

I adore looking after the elderly in the community I live in. Every day is different, fulfilling, and full of moments that remind me why I love what I do.

DJ Tony, our resident Paddy’s brother, treated us a karaoke afternoon filled with our favourite toe-tapping tunes and singalong classics. 🎤

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

✅ Co-ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for our residents throughout the year
✅ Activities should be person centred, catering to a range of individual preferences across abroad spectrum of activities including but not limited to; beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre.
✅ Responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards.
✅ Fundraising will be required and therefore previous experience will be an advantage.
✅ Candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated and have the skills necessary to ensure a varied programme of both group & one to one activities are provided to our residents.

Last week brought glorious sunshine, and our residents made the most of it with a fun-filled day outdoors! ☀️

From interactive ball games to refreshing fruit salads and tasty ice lollies, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 🍉🌳⚽️

It was a lovely chance for everyone to spend quality time together, enjoy the fresh air, and soak up the sunshine. 💛

Singalong Sessions with Frank! 🎶

Our residents had a fantastic time enjoying live guitar music with Frank, who treated us to a wonderful set of classic favourites, from You Are My Sunshine to The Black Velvet Band and many more. 🎤

Voices filled the room, hands clapped along, and smiles were everywhere. A heartfelt thank you to Frank for bringing such warmth and music to our day! 🌞💛

Our residents had an absolute blast singing along to karaoke classics, dancing, and toe-tapping to the tunes brought by the wonderful DJ Tony! 🕺🪩

A huge thank you to Tony, our resident Paddy’s brother, for filling our home with laughter, music, and so many smiles. ☺️

Our residents spent a cosy afternoon enjoying a few rounds of bingo together. With plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and a few lucky winners, it was the perfect way to brighten a chilly day. 😊
