Autism and ADHD are NOT overdiagnosed. We’re just an easy target.

Why is no one accusing Granny with memory problems of faking it for attention?
Why aren’t trauma survivors being told they’re just after a label?

Because it would be completely unacceptable — wouldn’t it?
But when it comes to Autistic or ADHD kids and adults?
Suddenly it’s fair game.

Some media outlets are actually saying:
🗞️ “Parents and adults just want to be quirky online — that’s why they’re getting diagnosed.”

Would they ever suggest families are dragging their elderly relatives to memory clinics and coaching them to say:
“Sorry, I don’t remember”?
Of course they wouldn’t.
Because it’s a disgusting idea.

But children struggling in school, or adults masking through daily burnout — they’re somehow attention seekers?

Let’s be clear:
We’re not overdiagnosed.
We’ve been understood too late, judged too harshly, and supported too little.

When the Department of Health fails children, families, and neurodivergent adults —
They point the finger at services like ours.
Services that offer nothing but kindness, clarity, and comfort.

And now we’re the problem?
Nah. Not having it.
You shouldn’t either.

We advocate.
We listen.

I’ll be revealing why the concept of "Neurodivergent-Friendly Safe Spaces" isn’t what people think it is—and what we REALLY need to create workplaces that work for everyone.

We have done enough talking, had enough think-tanks, had enough talks and seminars on what SHOULD be done, but it is time to share what is actually working and providing actionable and measurable results in keeping ND people in meaningful and impactful careers.

This isn’t just another echo chamber. This is the start of the ball rolling.

So the Trusts are throwing their weight behind an “Autism Reality Experience” bus 🚌🤔 To give non-Autistic people a glimpse of what it’s like to be Autistic.

Although, wouldn’t it be great if they just asked us what it was like? Some of us may enjoy talking about our experiences! Then again, that’s really far-fetched because the experiences of every single Autistic person can be captured perfectly and shown to people on a bus experience 🤦🏻‍♂️

So will this bus include things I like? Spicy food, skydiving, Liverpool FC, Oasis, cats, and ticking clocks? If not it’s a failure of an experience and I won’t be represented 🙄🙄

We’re not all the same. Scrap the bus and ask us!!!
