Who it is for
Degree-qualified professionals in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Nursing or Teaching with a specialism in SEN.
What you will learn
The first two days focus on the ADI-R, covering structured interviews in line with DSM-5 and ICD-10/11.
The final three days focus on the ADOS-2, giving you practical training in delivering structured observational assessments across Modules 1 to 4.
Please note
This course does not qualify you to diagnose Autism independently. It allows you to provide ADOS-2 and ADI-R assessments as part of a psychologist-led multidisciplinary team in line with NICE guidelines. Although the learning and tools can be extremely valuable in your current role, or if you want to take the step to linking up with a diagnostic multi-disciplinary team.
