Last week, we shared some big news that we had secured our own premises.
Today, we’re delighted to tell you a little more. Our new home will be based at Crescent Vitality, a well-established health and wellbeing hub on Clonard Crescent, just off the Falls Road in Belfast.
We chose this location very carefully. It is genuinely fit for purpose and offers so many benefits for our children, young people and families, including excellent accessibility, strong public transport links (including the Glider), easy access from the M1 and M2, and close proximity to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
Being located within a health hub also opens up exciting opportunities for the future, including access to a fully operational hydrotherapy pool and closer collaboration with clinical and academic partners at Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University Belfast.
🩵 What this means for families 🩵
After our February camp in Carrowdore, all future Gaitway camps will continue as normal, just in a new location. Everything you know and love about Gaitway remains exactly the same: our therapy approach, our team and our intensive holiday programmes (with the added bonus of no more packing and unpacking horse boxes!).
What will change is the opportunity for more consistent, regular therapy in a familiar and welcoming environment, allowing progress to build over time and opening the door to earlier intervention for babies and toddlers at a crucial stage of development.
This move is a significant step forward for Gaitway and brings our long-term vision firmly into focus. We are incredibly excited about what this means for the future of our services and for the families we support.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and belief in Gaitway.
