Dear Minister,

l am a parent of a young person with complex needs in Northern Ireland.

I understand the Learning Disability Service Model is being presented as the response to gaps in adult provision. However, my child would not be covered by this model, despite having significant support needs.

This is because:

I am deeply concerned about what will happen when my child leaves school.

What provision will be in place for individuals with complex needs who do not meet the learning disability diagnostic threshold?

No young person should be left without support because they do not fit a category.

We had very special people to make it happen 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Massive Thankyou to Falls Bowling Club / Committee who donated Selection boxes for our Families WOW !🤩 , putting decorations up , Fantastic Staff sorting hall & always checking in with us 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Special Thanks to The Mac Catering , Wiggles entertainment, K-pop girls , Minnie & Mickey Mouse , DJ Mark , our Balloon maker , Face painter , Glitter tattooist , Our Lovable Santa & his Helpers 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 our Families done fantastic with collection for The People’s Kitchen 👌🏽 We Raised in ballots from parents & families , collected on the day , We matched it Totalling just over to a fantastic £600 for a special boy who will be going abroad for Treatment & we wish him our very best wishes 💙💛
