New features!

A Festival Section has now been added to AtsUSNI.com.

I have added local artists' gigs to the Stendhal Festival record for today.

I will add tomorrow's gigs after I've had a sleep (I've coded through the night to bring you this part of the site).

Example albums appear on both Dolbro Dan and Joel Harkin's Artist Profile pages over at AtsUsNI.com

Joel Harkin asked if images could be added to artist profile pages to give them a bit more character.

Joel Harkin's request has been implemented.

Images (where uploaded) now appear on both artist profiles and in 'all artists' section of the site.

I am taking a day off from everything today to properly rest and be able return back to my work from home, and my work on the site, with a clearer head.

I suddenly realised something though...

UPDATE: 'Coming up this week' section has now been added to front page of the site.

Meaning that anything that is happening over the next 7 days is instantly accessable as soon as you load up atsusni.com.

This reduces the need for a bunch of additional button pressing just to see what's coming up, and means that users can quickly see any newly added content as soon as they land on the front page.

If any artists (or venues) want to join the beta testing group and start listing their upcoming live stream gigs please send me a direct message and I'll work to set you up.

UPDATE: Events have now been added to the site!

This allows multiple artists, all playing gigs as part of one event, to be listed as a group under the events section of the site.

It also allows individual gigs listed in the gig results to show that they are playing as a part of a wider event listed on the site.

The example event below is the upcoming Oh Yeah Music Centre Lowden Guitars Living Room Sessions online stream with Foy Vance, King Cedar & The Darkling Air this Thursday at 8 pm.

Testing testing!

So there is a Facebook comment system available to use on your websites if you want to use their backend for allowing comments on your site.

So I am trying it out over at https://atsusni.com/gigdetail.php?gigid=32 to see if it works ok.

To be fair though. This will most likely be a tempoary comment system on the site, as I don't want to create a barrier to entry to leaving comments under a gig, but hey, you gotta try these things out to see if they are any good!

Oh, and remember to tune in to Dolbro Dan's Livestream gig tonight :-)

Design tweaks continue to be made. The colour scheme is beginning to come together. Gig dates, artists, and venues each have their own colour coding. There's also nice little boxes per gig now.

Easier to read alright!
