✨🎄 The magic of Christmas may be winding down, but these days between Christmas and New Year can be a little gift in themselves.

Instead of the pre-Christmas rush or the New Year resolutions, we can rest up and try to embrace the in-between. Think:

* 🛋️ Slow mornings with no alarm
* 📚 That book you’ve been meaning to read
* 🌲 A winter walk to clear your head
* 📝 A moment to reflect on the year gone by
* 🎶 Listening to music or watching a movie or two

The joy of the in between days is that they don’t need to be productive—they’re a pause, a breath, a chance to rest up before we go again.

Is there anything more beautiful than the amazing Christmas decorations? This little walkway gives me all the festive vibes every time. 🎄✨

I have been quiet on social media lately - but I’m still here! I’m grateful to have been kept busy doing what I love - as well as being kept on my toes by the chaos of Christmas around the corner with two young kids!

Christmas can be lots of things: busy, chaotic, stressful, emotional, nostalgic, tiring, magical, fun-filled, loud, overstimulating, lonely. It’s something different each year for each person. Let’s try to take what we need out of Christmas this year. It doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. We don’t have to meet everyone’s expectations. Even our own. Let’s relax - and let’s enjoy it. 💜✨

I am run-down at the minute. Anyone else? 🫩

It’s been a busy couple of months along with a few additional stresses lately, and I’m totally feeling it.

And that’s OK… sometimes life is a bit rough. But, in case anyone else is weathering a storm at the moment, here are some of the things I’m doing to nourish myself:

✨ Slowing down - only essentials on the to-do list
🧽 Accepting help - someone wants to help clean your house or make a meal? Let them!
💧 Upping the water intake
✌️ Resting - like, doing nothing at all for a while
🥘 Eating nourishing meals
❌ Saying no
🐶 Getting outdoors and spending time with the mad new doggo… there’s something about nature & animals… ✌️
💆🏼‍♀️ Upping self-care - I have 2 massage treatments booked for myself this month
👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 Date night .house planned for the weekend

It’s funny because some of these are small things; things you feel you shouldn’t need to be intentional about, - but I do. And you do.

🌿 Feeling the Overwhelm?!

I’ve been chatting at the school gates this week about how many of us feel that this time of year can feel like a bit of a whirlwind - work, family, responsibilities and all that the last few months of the year brings!

But here’s the good news: you can find calm in the chaos.

Here are a few gentle tips to help you (and me!) manage the overwhelm:

✨ Pause and Breathe – Even 60 seconds of deep breathing can reset your nervous system. Try inhaling for 4, holding for 4, exhaling for 6.

✨ Simplify Your To-Do List – Focus on 3 key tasks. Let go of the rest (for now).

✨ Use Essential Oils – Scents like lavender, bergamot, and frankincense can soothe anxiety and promote clarity. Diffuse them or add to a calming roller blend.

✨ Ground Yourself – Reflexology is a powerful way to reconnect with your body and release tension. Your feet carry you—give them some love!

✨ Say “No” Without Guilt – Protect your energy. Boundaries are a form of self-care.

✨ Get Outdoors! Even a short walk in fresh air can shift your mood.
