ADHD and ASMR: A Gentle Support for the Nervous System

ADHD affects how the brain and nervous system process stimulation, focus, and rest. In ASMR sessions, many people with ADHD report a sense of calm and ease that feels very different from other treatments they’ve tried.

ASMR offers soft, soothing sensory input that gives the busy ADHD mind something pleasant to focus on. This often helps quiet racing thoughts, ease restlessness, and support a natural shift into relaxation.

What the Research Is Beginning to Show

While research into ADHD and ASMR is still developing, early studies suggest that people with ADHD may be especially responsive to ASMR. Research has shown that ASMR can reduce heart rate, activate the brain’s reward and relaxation centres, and create brain activity patterns similar to mindfulness and deep relaxation. These findings support what many clients and practitioners already notice in practice.

As we step into a new year, I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes to deepen and elevate the healing experience I offer you 🌿
My intention is always to support your body, mind, and nervous system with the highest level of care, relaxation, and results.

I’m so excited to share that new treatments will be launching over the next few weeks, including:

🌿 Lymphatic Drainage – to support detoxification, circulation, and overall wellbeing
🔥 Hot Stone Therapy – for deep relaxation, muscle release, and grounding warmth
🌸 Menopause Support massage – thoughtfully designed to nurture, balance, and restore during this powerful transition

Alongside these new offerings, I’ve also made beautiful improvements and added extra touches to my signature sensory experience.
As part of this evolution, I’ll now be referring to my ASMR massage as ✨ ASMR Gentle Touch Therapy ✨ — a name that better reflects the gentle, calming, nervous-system-soothing nature of the treatment.

This therapy has been lovingly refined with enhanced sensory elements, flowing movements, and grounding details to help you fully switch off, relax deeply, and reset.
