Betty passed away 25th October 2025. Beloved wife of the late Gerry. A loving mother to Gerry, Paul, Lasagne, Bernard, Mark, Edward and Kevin. Adored Granny by all her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Much loved sister and a loving friend to Jim and many others. R.I.P. Bettys remains will arrive to her late home 69 Moyard Parade on Monday afternoon. Family only on first night. A short service will be held at her home at 11am on Thursday 30th October followed by burial at 11.45am in Milltown Cemetery. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her. Sadly this is so heartbreakingly true ๐Ÿ’” Just lately we are having more and more drivers on the roads being impatient and trying to push in on the Funeral Cortรจgeโ€™s in between the Hearse and the Limousines with bereaved family members in, and even on funerals with our horses too.

This is happening to the point where accidents have nearly been caused because someone just wants to cut in or to cut through.

I appreciate we drive slower, but this is someoneโ€™s final journey, and this is done out of respect.

Whether this makes you 30 seconds, one minute or two minutes late for where you need to be, think about that person who has passed and the families that are following.

Brennan Noel died peacefully at Louisville Care Home 20th October 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Loving father to Noel Jr, Paul, David and Christopher. Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, father in law, uncle , cousin, and friend to many. R.I.P. Noel will arrive home to 22 Springhill Avenue on Tuesday (Afternoon) . Noel will leave on Friday 24th October at 8AM for a service in Roselawn Crematorium at 9.20AM. House private from 8PM. Family flowers only. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all staff of Our Ladyโ€™s care home over the last 16 months and especially the last 8 weeks of her life. A special thank you to Fr. The family of the late Tony (Basil) Madden would like to thank, most sincerely, all those people who attended Tony's Requiem Mass and funeral. To all who sympathised with the family, sent Mass cards, flowers and wreaths or helped in any way. A special thanks to Liam Taylor and Mickey Smith, Tony's friends, who not only cared for Tony when he was well, but visited him in England as the end drew near. Thanks also to the kind people who viewed Tony's remains as he reposed in the beautiful premises of Mallon's funeral parlour on the Falls Road. And, on the subject of Mallon's, words cannot describe the kindness and helpfulness of these professionals. A big thanks to Fr Martin Magill, for his lovely service and eulogy. Thanks also to Billy Duggan who travelled over from London for Tony's funeral. The wonderful Kevin Bell repatriation team of Newry and, last but definitely not least, the golden voice of Olive Kayes, who was the singer. The family of the late Eileen Callaghan, wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all of those who offered sympathy and supported us all at a very hard and difficult time. We as a family are so grateful to the many people who called to our home with cards, flowers and food, your kindness and generosity brought great comfort to us.

We would also like to express our health felt thanks to the healthcare teams for their exceptional care and support they provided to our mummy during her final days, we are deeply grateful.

A special thanks to fr Martin for the beautiful service for mummy and his words of comfort. Also Cara mcCann for the beautiful music she provided.
