As people live longer through a combination of improvements in health, diet and preventative care it is recognised that all developed nations are experiencing the rapid ageing of their population. Adapting to these trends poses economic, social and political challenges which will increase the dependency of older citizens on those of working age and significantly increase pressures on the Health and Social Care system.
One of the ways in which the challenges posed by this demographic shift can be met is through the provision of effective and efficient high quality healthcare services in the home and in the community, thereby promoting prevention and decreasing the demand for costly hospitalisation. Having recognised both the challenge and the opportunity inherent in resolving the conundrum of delivering improved service within a decreasing budget, a team of highly experienced professionals, with a relevant mix of knowledge and expertise, have come together to create Connected Health Limited.
Our Vision is to invest in the training and development of our people; to identify, help develop and to mobilise the best in technology, software, systems, processes, equipment and supplies; and to work in collaboration with our Health and Social care sector and with all other parties who can positively contribute to the creation of an exemplar Health and Social care model for deployment in Northern Ireland and beyond.
