Isaac came to me already training, already putting in the effort but what he needed was structure, direction, and real clarity around his routine and nutrition.

Phase 1 was about stripping body fat while building muscle, the perfect combo when you’re still relatively new to proper programming.

Phase 2 we went into a small surplus to build strength and lay a solid foundation.

Phase 3 we cut back down for summer.

The result?
Well… the photo does the talking.

Proud of this lad, he’s one of the hardest workers I’ve coached, and the transformation speaks for itself.

5 Things I Wish I Knew before I Started Training

1. Your Food Can Be Flavorful: You don’t need to eat bland food to stay healthy. Season and spice up your meals while keeping them protein-dominant and being mindful of sauces and carbs. Enjoying your food makes it easier to stick to your diet.

2. Protein Shakes Aren’t Essential: Protein shakes are just a supplement to help you reach your protein goals, not a necessity. Aim for 80% of your protein intake from real food and only 20% from supplements.

3. Cardio Won’t Make You Lose Muscle: Cardio is crucial for your cardiovascular health, and you won’t lose muscle by doing it. Incorporate regular cardio to keep your heart and lungs strong.

4. Keep It Simple: You don’t need to overcomplicate your training. Focus on the basics—eat real, unprocessed foods, prioritise protein, lift weights 2-5 times a week, get enough sleep, and stay active with walking or cardio. Consistency in these areas will lead to results.

5. Explore Different Training Paths: There are many effective training routines—like full-body workouts, upper-lower splits, or body part splits. Choose one that fits your schedule and stick to it. Consistency in your chosen path is key to success.

🌟 Exciting News 🌟

Every year, I strive to learn something new that helps me level up myself and my business. As a personal trainer, I’ve worked hard to be the best version of myself in the fitness world. I’ve qualified in Group Fitness, become a strength and conditioning coach, and earned my credentials as an advanced kettlebell instructor.

But I wanted to connect with my clients on a deeper level, which is why I pursued counselling to support them through their struggles. 🧠

I also became a qualified chef to deepen my understanding of nutrition and took a digital marketing course to navigate promoting my business. 🧑‍🍳

So, what’s new this academic year? I’ve decided to dive deeper into nutrition! I want to understand how food affects the body, so I’m excited to announce that I’ve enrolled to become a nutritionist! 🥦🥑🥩

Additionally, I’m taking a videography and editing course to enhance my skills in filming and content creation. 📽️

I believe these new qualifications will complement my expertise and help me provide even more value to my clients.

Here’s to growth and being the best version of ourselves! 💪✨
