Consultations are a really important part of choosing the right aesthetic treatment for your desired outcome. 👩🏻‍⚕️

This is because sometimes people request treatments they don’t actually require, for results that they would achieve with a different treatment.

For example, I had a lady book in for lip filler treatment, but her lips were already a lovely shape with plenty of volume. She explained she wanted to add more volume as she thought this would give a slimmer appearance of her face.

After discussion, we decided the most appropriate treatment would be to administer botox to the masseter muscles (the muscle that connects the cheekbone to the jaw). This slims down the face, and ultimately will change the ratio of the lips to face, giving not only the desired slimmer appearance but also emphasising her already voluminous lips.👄
