Just received these lovely selfies from my patient, who’s lost 2.5 stone over 3 months on the National Medical Weight Loss Programme, safely and steadily, under my care. 🩵

She’s feeling better in herself, with more energy and confidence… I’m so proud of her commitment and progress. 😄

I’m Still a Nurse. ✅

👩🏻‍⚕️ People often ask if I *used to* be a nurse, which surprises me. Because I’m still very much a nurse… and it’s not just what I do; it’s who I am.

📑 I wouldn’t dream of carrying out medical procedures daily without the years of clinical training, knowledge and experience under my belt.

🏥 My training didn’t end when I graduated from Queen’s University and went on to work as a senior nurse for almost 20 years.

👩🏻‍🎓 I’ve since trained extensively in aesthetic medicine, completed two postgraduate qualifications (in the past five years) - Nurse Prescribing and Level 7 Aesthetics - and continue my professional development every step of the way. 📚

🫶 I’m proud to be a nurse and so thankful that friends & colleagues from my student days are still in my life. Where would we be without nurses?!

👋 If you’re new around here you might not know that I run North West aesthetic clinics every 2-3 months.

🌊 Why? I grew up here so the area has a special place in my heart, 🥰 lots of you wanted treatments - & of course it’s the perfect excuse to visit my mum! 😉

This patient was concerned about skin laxity and texture around her cheek area.

I used 2ml of hyperdilute Radiesse across her upper and mid face, for an immediate improvement in texture, as you can see in the after photo.
