RACHAEL 🤍

Our Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, Rachael, has extensive training and experience in treating pelvic floor dysfunction, postnatal checks, urinary and bowel incontinence, pelvic pain and diastasis.

With a strong focus on education and patient empowerment, Rachael supports her patients to feel confident, capable and pain-free through effective rehabilitation and practical guidance.

Rachael brings 12 years of NHS physiotherapy experience, with the last 4 years specialising in Pelvic Health. She’s always had a keen interest in ante and postnatal care, but becoming a mum herself deepened her passion for supporting women through pregnancy, postnatal recovery and beyond.

Rachael is a member of CSP, HCPC, POGP NI and APPI, and is trained in APPI Pilates, including ante & postnatal and pelvic floor Pilates.

Karen’s classes are packed with fun, good energy, and the kind of enthusiasm that’s contagious. She fell in love with reformer in Dublin and now loves sharing that excitement with others. Expect smiles, support, and a seriously uplifting atmosphere.

How would you describe your teaching style in 3 words?
High energy and fun encapsulates my jumpboard classes or at least they are for me! I bring a calm and peaceful vibe to my other classes and aim to create a sense of movement and flow.

If you weren’t teaching pilates what would you be doing?
I would probably be kicking myself that I hadn’t booked on to the teacher training programme as teaching brings so much joy and happiness to my life.

What makes this community so special?
Liv and Angus both emit such a warm and comforting energy, this radiates throughout the studio even when they are not there. Their energy draws such a wonderful cohort of people, it’s so uplifting. You are always welcome for being yourself and that’s what I love about this community.

How did you first discover Pilates/reformer?
My first Pilates experience actually was at Moore Movement. I had a shoulder issue and couldn’t weight train but still wanted to move so I did one to ones with Liv!

What’s one fun fact about you most people don’t know?
I can speak Spanish (maybe not as good as a few years ago though) I did my degree in Spanish and Business and my Masters in Translation

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone new to reformer Pilates?
Come as you are, go at your own pace, ask questions, don’t be afraid to say something doesn’t feel good for you and have fun!
