A recent grave renovation required careful attention, beginning with the old wrought‑iron surround, which was fully prepped, wire‑brushed, and restored with a fresh coat of elegant silver paint. The interior was topped up and neatly recapped to create a clean, level base before being finished with premium silver granite chippings that add both brightness and longevity. White marble headstones and kerbs can become very badly stained in fact almost black in colour and not recogniseable as white marble This particular example shows what is possible with some extreme cleaning. The interior of the grave had collapsed badly and needed to be infilled before recapping. After this stage of work is completed the cement screed cap is left to dry thoroughly before decorative chippings are added.

An old white marble grave in need of some major TLC and renovation. A recent burial needed to be levelled and recapped but also the left side sounded hollow and needed to be collapsed as well.
The stone cleaned up well and the interior now recapped in readiness for the new decorative chippings.

This example shows what is achievable. Creeping w**d and moss can cover the decorative chippings like a blanket so careful painstaking wedding is necessary.
