O'Neills Funeral Directors O'Neill's Funeral Directors is a family run business helping families across Ireland. With two funeral homes: 98 Stewartstown Road & 228 Falls Road Belfast.

We are an independently family owned funeral directors established in 1991. Our main aim is to alleviate the worry from the family, of arranging the funeral, and in order to carry out this we are available 24 hours a day, no answer machines or recorded messages, the personal touch every time. Unfortunately, most of us will be confronted with the task of arranging the funeral of a loved one, which,

O’Neill’s Funeral Directors have a purpose built a Chapel of Rest incorporating Viewing Rooms and totally refurbished their existing premises, on the Stewartstown Road. In addition to this in 2023 we have just opened new additional premises at 228 Falls Road, again with viewing rooms for the convenience of families. They have on display a selection of headstones at their premises to complete their one stop facility of providing everything needed to arrange a funeral. Since being established in 1991, O’Neill’s Funeral Directors – Independent family run firm have caringly helped many families through the process of dealing with the loss of a loved one. Maeve passed peacefully at home on 23rd July 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Dearly beloved wife of Brendan and loving mother of Brendan, Mark, Maria and Martin. Much loved mother-in-law to Cathy and Joerg, cherished sister of Helen, Betsy, Cathal, Gerard, Roisin and the late Sydney and Kevin, devoted nanny to Christopher, Lauren, Stephen, Jonathan, Michael, Caitlin, Caoímhin, Tiernán and great granddaughter Freya.

Late of 1 Woodland Gardens.

Maeve’s remains will be reposing in her late address from Saturday evening for those wishing to pay their respects.

Maeve’s remains will leave her late residence at 9.30am on Wednesday to arrive at St Colman’s Church for 10am Requiem Mass. Cremation to follow in Roselawn Crematorium.

Maeve will be loved and missed always by her heartbroken husband, sons, daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great granddaughter and entire family circle.

Pat passed peacefully at home on 23rd July 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of the late Joan and devoted father of the late Patrick. Loving grandpa to Jenna and Joshua, great grandfather to Tom and Mollie. Cherished brother of Frank, Jean and Mary.

The family of the late Kevin Morgan who sadly passed away on the 17th of June would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who have supported us in recent weeks following our sudden bereavement.

Thank you to everyone who called at the house, attended the funeral in person and online, sent cards, flowers, gifts and for your generous donations to Revive ICU Charity in memory of Kevin.

We would like to thank celebrant Richard Lavery for the beautiful service, Gregg Coyle for the music and all of the staff at O’Neills Funeral Directors for the caring, dignified and professional manner in which they conducted Kevin’s funeral.
