Christmas Lunch Meeting 2025 🎅🏻

We had a great 2025 Christmas get together at our Head Office with Management teams from all our Homes along with our Head Office Team followed by a beautiful lunch at the Post House yesterday🎄🍴🥳

We shared ideas and celebrated a few achievements and landmarks including our Marina Care Home Clinical Lead Candice marking 5 years with us 🏆

Thanks to all our Management team who work together to lead their homes and to our Head Office team who support them 🤝🫶🏻

We have great teams in our Homes who all year, every year do so much to care and look after our residents 👏🥰

🥳Celebration Day at Bramblewood 🥳

We had a lovely afternoon celebrating the great artwork of the children from Bloomfield Primary School. Linking Generations Northern Ireland supported the project which along with Oonagh Linden and our Activity Therapist.

We were delighted to welcome the principal and teaching staff from Broomfield PS and Joyce from Linking Generations presented certificates to all the children. We were honoured that the Lord Mayor of Ards and North Down Borough Council, Gillian McCollum took time out of her busy schedule to join us today 😃🫶

Today is World Mental Health Day, a day recognised globally to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote the importance of emotional wellbeing in all aspects of life.

At Burnview Healthcare we recognise that mental health is just as important as physical health and we understand life can be challenging at times which is why we want to reach out to remind you that you’re not alone.

As a team we are always here to listen and support however we understand that not all our team feel comfortable talking openly about their mental health and for this reason we have emailed all our team to share details of our Employee Assistance Programme in partnership with Westfield Health.

The EAP offers confidential advice to all employees and their immediate family members and includes:

💫Happy Retirement 🎉

On Wednesday we said farewell to one of our long serving Staff Nurses, Joy 🥲

Joy has been dedicated to Bramblewood Care Home for a number of years and it was an end of an era when she finished her last shift on Wednesday and handed her medicine keys over for the last time!

Thanks Joy for all you have done for both our residents and your colleagues during your time in Bramblewood Care Home! As throughout your 48 year nursing career we benefited from your compassionate and professional approach 👏

A well deserved retirement awaits!
