What’s Really Happening when a Remedy “Resists”
Recently, I recommended to a client the Australian Bush Flower remedy Wedding Bush - an essence connected to commitment and staying focused.
But something curious happened when she received the remedy.
The pipette broke.
The bottle spilled.
It even disappeared under the bed.
Coincidence? Maybe.
Or perhaps something deeper was being touched.
In holistic work, when we move toward growth - especially around commitment, relationships, or life direction - subtle resistance can show up. We might procrastinate, forget, drop things, or feel distracted.
It doesn’t mean we’re failing. It doesn’t mean the remedy is “wrong.” It simply means something important is shifting.
If you ever notice obstacles around something that is meant to support you, just ask yourself:
- What might happen if I fully commit to this?
- Is part of me unsure or afraid?
- What is scary about moving forward?
Healing isn’t linear. Sometimes even “spilling the bottle” is part of the process.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear your thoughts
