We’re delighted to share that our Intensive Tenancy Support Service in South Down has supported 141 tenants over the past two years, helping people maintain their homes, health and independence 🏠💚

Thanks to its positive impact, NI Housing Executive has funded the service for a further two years! We look forward to supporting even more individuals and communities and continuing to reduce the risk of homelessness across South Down.

🏃‍♀️💙 Did you spot any of our MindWise runners? 💙🏃‍♀️

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been incredibly proud to see MindWise represented at some major events – from the streets of London to closer to home in Belfast.

Susanne (Susie) Comiskey member of took on her first ever marathon at the London Marathon, showing amazing determination from start to finish. From still smiling at the 18‑mile marker to a very well‑earned seat at the end, Susie completed the race in 6 hours 45 minutes – one of over 59,000 finishers and now officially a Guinness World Record breaker!

Susie was brilliantly supported throughout by her sister Elaine Comiskey, aka her “emotional support sister”, who travelled to London and cheered her on at various points before celebrating with her at the finish line 💙

The marathon journey didn’t stop there – Elaine then went on to complete the Belfast Marathon, finishing in an impressive time of 4:32:07, while Susie also took part by completing a relay leg.

Thanks to both of them for their incredible efforts and the generosity of so many supporters, over £700 has been raised for MindWise so far 💙

Whether you were running, cheering, supporting from the sidelines or donating – thank you. Your support helps us continue our vital mental health work across our communities.
