🌸 Today we recognise and celebrate International Women’s Day. 🌸

From all of us in the Men’s Group, we want to acknowledge the incredible women in our families, our friendships and our community who support, inspire and strengthen the lives of so many people every day.

Real men support women.
We stand with women, we respect women, and we recognise the important role they play in our homes, workplaces and communities.

Today is about celebrating their achievements, their resilience and the positive difference they make in the world.

📢 We are incredibly honoured and grateful that our Men’s Group has been invited to attend the Lord Mayor’s Installation Dinner at Belfast City Hall.

It is a privilege to be recognised and included in such an important civic occasion, and we sincerely thank The Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor, Councillor Tracy Kelly, and Belfast City Council for the invitation. 🌸

Our group works hard within the community to support and encourage men’s wellbeing, friendship and positive engagement, so being invited to this event means a great deal to us. 😊

We look forward to attending and representing our group and community with pride. 🙏

Last night we took part in the Peace Plus Programme with EBCDA - East Belfast Community Development Agency, following the Take 5 Steps to Health and Wellbeing.

Everyone had a fantastic evening and really enjoyed the activities. A Big Thank you to Shauna White from Rediscover Holistic Therapies, who provided free head, shoulder and back massages. The boys not only enjoyed the massages but also the calming scents and the focus on mind, body and soul.

We were also delighted to have free haircuts from Scissor King Turkish Barbers Hot Towel Shave. As always, Hasan continues to be a great supporter and generous donor to our club.

There were also blood pressure checks available, helping to promote awareness of health and wellbeing. To finish off the evening, we held some fun competitions including indoor archery and golf, which everyone really enjoyed.

We were also joined by Nadine McAuley from the Greenway, who invited us along to take part in hedgerow planting at Ballymacarrett Play Park, which the group are really looking forward to getting involved in.

A big thank you to everyone involved in making the evening such a positive and enjoyable experience for all! 👏

🎱 Health & Wellbeing Pool League — Season Complete 🎱

What a fantastic first season it has been!

Over the past months, 12 men’s group teams came together, with 60–80 men attending each month to connect, play, laugh and enjoy some healthy competition as part of our Health & Wellbeing Pool League.

A huge thank you to every man who attended and supported the league, you are what makes this so special. We hope to see you all back again next season. 💙
