P.S big thanks to our Christmas Elves Dave, Derek and Michelle for putting together the decorations and making the Home cosy and festive for our residents🎄

We had a great day at our International Culture Fun Day! 🎉🥘

Our residents had a great time getting to see some of our staff and their families in their traditional dress. Our residents also got to try authentic foods from different countries and enjoyed live music from Paul Foreman.

Our staff all had a blast too!

Thank you so much to anyone who made a donation and thank you to our staff for going all out to give our residents a great day!

Our International Culture Fun Day is back by popular demand! 🎉

After last years success, our residents have requested we bring back the International Culture Fun Day for this year.

Some of our staff will be wearing their national dress and bringing food that represents their country of birth 🥘

We will also have music from Paul Foreman and (weather permitting) some outdoor activities for the kids.

This is a free event, however we will be asking for a donation should you wish to try out some of the food.

Hopefully see you all there!

This morning we remembered the late Emily Boyle who was a faithful member of Church of God Glenmachan and in her final years, a resident of our Nursing Home

Emily’s son Billy gifted us two benches and four planters in memory of his mother on what would have been her 84th birthday. We have placed them at the front of the Home, overlooking the view of Belfast which Emily loved so well

It was lovely to catch up with a few of Emily’s family members (not all pictured) and reminisce about Emily on what I’m sure is a difficult day for them

Thank you to Billy and his family for the kind donation and a Happy heavenly birthday to Emily!
