Now before the algorithm pushes influencers on to attack me I want to clear some things up.

1. 10k months are great, if you are making that or more then fair play to you I respect that.
Money is oxygen, it feeds the family, we all need it.

2. I respect anyone trying to make their way in life and I think we should all chase what’s important to us.

But there’s an issue.

When you tie your identity and self worth to money, status & popularity you are destined to fail.
Because it will never be enough.

The real question men need to ask:

What kind of man are you becoming?

Would your younger self be proud of that man?

Are you setting an example in your behaviour behind the camera, for your kids, the audience you claim to lead?

That’s self leadership.
That’s what I teach.

There’s a lot of content on my page that focuses on me as a person,
But very little on what I actually do.

As a coach I don’t like to be generic, I have been doing this over 10 years,
I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t.

I’ve seen where guys fall off and where they get results.

I’ve seen it all.

I’ve been there and done it myself,
Bodybuilding, strength training, fitness, boxing training, keto diet, bulking diets. You name it I’ve probably tried itšŸ˜‚

It’s been far from easy but I am so grateful for my life, my family and what we have right now.

Stress is caused by not taking control of the things you can, and trying to control the things you can’t.

This is why I preach self leadership,
Not to be different or stand out in the coaching space.

I’ve been there,
And I will be there again.

The difference is how you adapt,
Do you let standards slip and let the overwhelm slow you down or do you adapt and grow.

Growth is painful it is not nice.
That’s why 99% of people never grow past their current state or environment because they feel obligated to stay there.

You must move through seasons of life in an adaptable manor,
Otherwise you will constantly feel out of alignment.

Make hard decisions, do hard things & follow your gut.

Honest Physique update.

Currently sitting at 96kg from 1 month ago I was 101kg.
Target is 92–93kgšŸŽÆ

I’ve been here before and I know this is where I feel best.
Leaner, fitter, lighter on my feet
but still strong with a solid base of muscle mass.

This isn’t an overnight result.
It’s a standard.

Even when life is chaotic,
I used to drop my standards.

I’ve a newborn now.
This season requires presence.
But that doesn’t mean I neglect myself.

If anything it matters more to be in shape and lead by example.

Because one day she’ll look to me and
this is what she’ll learn to expect from a man.

Consistency.
Discipline.
Self-respect.
Doing the work.

Goal:
92–93kg by end of June

This past week has been tough.

Started the week with a trip to A&E for the wee woman, thankfully she’s completely fine but 27 hours with no sleep in a hospital waiting to see if your daughter is okay, is not fun.
At one point we both couldn’t physically stay awake and had to literally drink 2 double espressos at 4am,
This kept me awake for 1 hour…

It will test you beyond your capacity.
But as a man, as a father it’s taught me a lot about responsibility.

After that episode it was back to routine with training and nutrition.
All boxes ticked this week - 2 runs / 3 weight sessions (missed out on 1 weight session due to start of week but made up for it)

Completely restructured my coaching brand and also introduced 2 new boys to the team who are absolutely thriving already.

Ran 10k for at the end of the week to finish on a high.

Most of this week was about being efficient,
Training when I can, managing stress & trying to get our baby girl into a routine.

Truth be told, I thought I had a high capacity for stress and challenge,
This has tested that & I’m grateful for the test,
Thank god she’s healthy.

But I’m also grateful I’m in a position I can help her and my partner with the daily things that need done,
Feeding, changing all that jazz.

And still show up for training,
Still eat good,
Still manage my workload
& that’s all down to standards.

Standards are what you fall back on,
Not a plan.

We go again🐺
