⭐ We are launching our new Siblings programme on Saturday 4th October, kicking off with a Sibling Fun Day at The Jungle NI! ⭐

This event is exclusively for children and young people aged p7-13, who have a sibling born with a congenital heart disease.

The purpose of this programme is to provide understanding, acceptance, belonging and identity for siblings of children and young people with congenital heart disease. Through fun days like this one and smaller workshop sessions across NI we hope to create a wider support circle for young siblings and carers. The goal is to reduce isolation amongst peers, working towards a shared empathy and understanding of living as a heart family.

Join us on Saturday 4th October 2025 from 11am-1.30pm for some fun activities, making new friends and lunch!

What to expect:

⏰ 10:45am arrival
🌿 Mowgli Tree Top Adventure Course
⚽ Body Zorb Football
🍴 Lunch together
🚗 1:30 Pick-up

During this time there will also be a parents session taking place at the Jungle NI where Cathy, our Family and Youth Support Manager will be working together with wellbeing coach Tina, to open up some important discussions and offer support to parents.

On International Day of Charity, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible generosity of our amazing supporters, whose fundraising efforts continue to inspire us every single day. 🌎💙

One such supporter is TechTeeUp for Charity who held their inaugural Charity Sports Day in June. The event brought together the North and South tech ecosystems, uniting people to connect, collaborate and make a real difference for three charities across the island of Ireland: Children's Heartbeat Trust, Just ASK, and Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services, Harold's Cross, Blackrock & Wicklow.

The day was a phenomenal success, raising over €75,000 for charity and we were delighted to receive £21,603.

This incredible result would not have been possible without the hard work and commitment of the organising committee, Ian Browne and Barry Brennan, the generosity of official event sponsors Amplifi, eDesk,Elkstone, Needl, Philip Lee LLP, Stripe, and, of course, everyone who came along and gave so generously.

Your collective efforts have had a truly meaningful impact, not only on children and young people living with heart disease across Northern Ireland, but also on hundreds of others who in need of vital support services.

Today is a powerful reminder of the difference communities, businesses, and individuals can make when they come together to support those who need it most. 🏆

Teeing Off for Tiny Hearts ⛳

As part of the ViVO and ViVO Essentials charity partnership which launched earlier this year, the retailer held their annual Charity Golf Day at Omagh Golf Club in July.

Despite the weather, the day and evening were a tremendous success, raising over £4,200 in aid of our services, supporting local children with heart disease.

We are immensely grateful to Donal for organising the day and to Omagh Golf Club for their hospitality in hosting the event and complimentary use of the course.

A special thanks to all the retailers who attended and supported the event so generously.

As part of the partnership over 100 ViVO and ViVO essentials retailers, all independently owned will be fundraising and raising key awareness for Children’s Heartbeat Trust. ❤️

Visit our website for full details on the partnership: https://childrensheartbeattrust.org/posts/news/vivo-charity-partner/
