❤North Down Family Group❤

We are delighted to have our North Down local heart family group ready to go again!

We have our newly trained local group organisers raring to get going, starting with setting up a WhatsApp group for local heart families in the North Down and surrounding areas.

Our groups are parent-led and are free to local families who have a child or young person with congenital heart disease. Each group is activity based and a great way to meet other local families who understand the ups, downs and in-betweens of all things CHD, all whilst having a fun, family day out at the same time!

If you would like to find out more and become part of the North Down Heart Family WhatsApp group, please contact Jennifer on:

Children’s Heartbeat Trust was delighted to recently attend the Northern Ireland Baby Hearts 2 Family Appreciation Day at Ulster University. The research, funded by Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke and supported by Children’s Heartbeat Trust, has built on the original Baby Hearts 1 study, and seeks to deepen understanding of why CHD happens and how outcomes for children and young people can be improved.

The event was a heartfelt thank you to the hundreds of families that took part in the research. Their time, commitment and effort collectively builds a brighter future for our heart families.❤
